Virgílio Scelto was one of Kian's receptacles. Before that, he was the Blue Condominium's watchman, in which he lived in the 28th House with his brother, Nestor Scelto.

Appearance

At the age of 22, Virgílio had a fine-tuned face on his chin with dimples on his cheeks, wavy curly hair, small brown eyes and a large nose. At the time he had taken the photo for his work as a guard at the Blue Condominium, he wore a brown suit with a gray collar shirt, accompanied by a black tie tied around his neck. Virgílio was described by Vanessa, the former resident of the Devilish Mansion, as the "perfect form" to gather Mandraque Ângelo's powers, by being young and strong.

It is said by Nestor that Virgílio would have disappeared for several days and returned suddenly. Nestor, being blind from birth, could not identify if Virgílio appearance had changed, but realized that it seemed to be someone else who was impersonating him, although he said things that only his brother would know. It's known that Kian had already taken Virgílio's body at that time due to the Knowledge Passage Ritual performed by Vanessa.

After about 30 years, Virgílio is seen with the appearance of the elderly Wretched Semblance. He has a beard and white hair, accompanied by a pair of yellow eyes. In addition, several text tattoos could be found scattered in regions of his body, similar to the Escribes and the Existeds. In the photo of this time found by the agents, he is seen wearing a kind of dark cape with a hood.

Biography

Past

Virgílio was born on May 28, 1948, and at some point in his life, went to live with his brother, Nestor Scelto, on the 28th house of the Blue Condominium, located in Canadense, São Paulo. They had as neighbors a couple of people, known as Vanessa and Mandraque Ângelo. During his youth, he had heard about the macabre stories of how the "Witch" (Mandraque’s wife) would make dolls so beautiful for children that they would not resist and take one for themselves, however, they would eventually disappear. Both Scelto then began to carefully investigate the actions of their neighbors.

Around the age of 22, he was admitted on January 15, 1970 as a watchman of this same condominium in which they lived. At one point, they began to hear several cries coming from the house of their neighbors, and Virgílio decided that he would go alone in search of finding out what was happening in that house, suspecting that the children who disappeared in the neighborhood might be inside. It is not correctly known what had happened to the man, but it is assumed that he would have become the vessel of Kian, who previously inhabited Mandraque’s body, and completed the Passage. After this, Virgílio disappeared for several days, until he returned to his old home, now as Kian, to visit his "brother" again, and give him the key to unravel the mystery that haunted both. So then, he disappeared again to continue with the "Deconjuration".

Kian

In February 11, 2002, a team composed by Mr. Verity, Arnaldo Fritz, Chizue Akechi, Francisca Parker, and the support of Cristopher Cohen, begin to investigate several cases where occultists would appear marked by various figures and mysterious texts tattooed around their bodies, these connected to an extremely dangerous cult named “Escribes", which had been reported to exist for over 4000 years in ancient Sumer. After months of investigation, an agent with a censored name identifies the alleged "Kian", a name that members of this cult hailed as their savior and leader. A kind of god who opened his mind to a higher truth, being known as Virgílio in the occultist world.

After months of investigation, thanks to a discovery of the agent , it was possible to identify the alleged "Kian" - a man known in the occultist world as "Virgílio".
When identifying the planned location for an Occultist meeting, a surprise operation was carried out with the assistance of the actor . The group planned to perform a ritual using the sacrifice of and . The operation was carried out with relative success, unfortunately it was not possible to save the victims of the sacrifice.
Despite the fatalities, the occultist Virgílio "Kian" was executed by agents during the operation.

Then the Escribes eliminated the smaller groups of occultists, becoming the main occultist nucleus. Thus, Kian strengthened the Veil, orchestrating the death of all the Escribes. An Order team carried out a surprise operation in a place where there would be a meeting of occultists, eliminating everyone present there and supposedly killing Virgílio, unaware that they actually killed another man in his body.

For several years, there have been no longer any big occultist groups, and paranormal events were just isolated cases. Organizations that fight the paranormal let their guard down and get used to the easy work. That said, Tirigan, the last Escribe, was responsible for bringing the powers back to Kian.

It is then discovered that Kian remained alive, having fulfilled his goal which was to pass into the body of Leonardo Gomes, who pretended to be for years while aiming the Deconjuration Order. New agents went to investigate Elizabeth Webber's disappearance case and about Kian, where they eventually discovered the new whereabouts of the occultist leader, now assuming another body after Leonardo’s death.

• Just like Dante, Beatrice and Orpheu, "Virgílio" is also a character name in "Divine Comedy", besides being the name of a Roman poet writer of the Aeneid.
• The surname "Scelto" means "Chosen" in italian.
