Veritus^[1]

Veritus was the leader of Ordo Calamitas, an organization located in Rome that aimed to destroy the Paranormal. He had the goal of getting all the Relics of Calamity to be able to study them further.

Veritus first appeared in the 5th episode of Calamity meeting with the members of the Ordo Calamitas to commemorate the conquest of the Relic of Energy.^[2]

After a deadly invasion and a chaotic event, during the events of the sixth and seventh episodes of Calamity, Veritus pretended to be dead during one of Amphitruo's games, being soon after incorporated by Kian during the Escribes' exploration through Domus Aurea and being able to reclaim his memories.^[3]^[4]

Veritus was a middle-aged man, fair-skinned, with brown hair and beard. He wore a metallic medieval armor with golden details and a gray cloth on his chest with the Ordo Calamitas' symbol stamped on it.

While Team Vultures was reliving the memories of the warriors of Ordo Calamitas, Veritus had a blue aura surrounding him, and his eyes shone in the same color, however after revealing himself as Kian, Veritus adheres a golden aura and his eyes shine yellow.

Personality[]

Veritus showed magnificence, being highly respected by his subordinates. But even so, Veritus was not a feared figure, since he had friendly relations with Remus, Gaius, Amalia, among other. The leader aimed for his agents to demonstrate obedience and consecration to the emperor Nero, whereas during the attack of the great black silhouette at the base, he prioritized protecting the ruler.
