Vagner Freitas was a resident from Tipora, where he worked as a lumberjack.
He first appeared in the 1st episode of The Secret in the Island, being seen by Milo heading into the woods early to work.[1] During the 8th episode of The Secret in the Island, Vagner was caught by the Imaginary Friend and had his face and neck melted by the creature.[2]
Appearance[]
Vagner was a young man, tall and robust in appearance, has brown eyes and hair and an unshaven beard. He wore a brown jumpsuit over a light brown shirt, a pair of boots in the same color and a black cap. From accessories he used a leather belt, where he hung a hatchet.
Personality[]
Vagner was a charismatic and active man. He proves not to be very skeptical about the strange events of the island, arguing with Evandro that he had seen a figure pass through his window the day the body was found on the beach.
During the disagreements in the Church of Tipora Island occurred during the episode "Prosopagnosia", Barnabé reveals that Vagner is frustrated with having to stay on the island and wanted to leave.[3]

Vagner Freitas was born in May 1, 1988, in Tipora.
Little is known about Vagner’s past, being one of those few things that his brother fled the Island of Tipora to have no responsibilities.[4]
It is known that at some point in his life, Vagner assumed the role of lumberjack of the island.
The Secret in the Island[]
Day 1[]
Vagner appears early in the day going to the forest to work, later being found by Milo and Olivier when they were taking a shortcut through the woods.
Day 2[]
After a big confusion involving wild animals on the beach, Vagner appears worried about the screams he heard. Amelie and Olivier explain what happened to Vagner and he takes the dead body of a boar to the Village Barbecue. He hands his axe to Amelie and leaves for the village through the woods with Angelina, Amelie and Olivier. They talk as they walk through the woods and halfway they find Bisteca. They arrive at the village and Vagner points to where Návia's house is located and goes to his house to clean the pig before taking it to the church.
Vagner is seen at the Church’s Barbecue, taking care of the meats and later talking with Helena Gama.
Day 4[]
Vagner appears at the church rally alerted by Evandro Eiland, and comments that Helena had told him about what she had seen on the beach and he comments that while he was in his house feeling ill due to the boar he had eaten, he saw something passing through his window at night heading towards the forest. The discussion continues and in the middle of the debate, Bartô punches Evandro and a clash begins. After much reluctance, Bartô is arrested and the rally ends.
Day 5[]
Suddenly, infected animals begin to attack the village and Vagner, along with Evandro and Wanderley, fight the monsters. An infected wild dog invades the church and Vagner along with the others pursue and kill it. Vagner talks to Warderley and leaves for the police station to see Helena.
During the chaos generated at the police station after finding the dead body of Bartô, Wanderley sees Vagner looking at the painting next to Bartô, Wanderley takes him out of his trance, calms him down and asks him to be next to Angelina.
Day 6[]
Barnabé Aleno takes all the residents to the Church, where they set up a makeshift barricade at the entrance. While they were there, Wanderley, Milo, Bárbara, Amelie, Olivier and other people show up at the door asking to open, but Barnabé says that maybe the monster has taken their voices and says not to open, and then a discussion begins. Barnabé tries to convince him by talking about his brother, but Vagner still tries to help break the barricade. When the barricade is dismantled and people enter, Barnabé takes a cloth off a painting, revealing a picture of a creature, that begins to manifest itself, coming out of the painting.
The monster is summoned, and everyone is shocked. The monster tries to catch people with its tentacles and Amelie, Barbara, Milo, Olivier and Wanderley fight it. In the middle of that chaos, Vagner is caught by the monster and has that corrosive liquid poured into his face, he tries to struggle and that acid ends up melting his neck, thus dying.[2]
