This page contains a list of older and/or discarded contents that were made to appear during the Paranormal Order campaigns.
That includes discarded arts, concept arts and events that would happen during the franchise, but were abandoned by choice of the Game Master, or by consequence of the actions that Players made that negated such events.

The original idea for Liz's nightmare theme in the first graphic novel adaptation of The Secret in the Forest was to be the song Bring Me to Life by the band Evanescence, but at the last minute it ended up being changed to the song Things We Lost In The Fire by the band Bastille, as a reference/tribute to a fan animation famous among fans that used this song.[3] |

Although it was not revealed in the Extra Episode of Quarantine, there was one more document that was found by the Players during the season, but was never shown: it was a note from "janitor" Pete asking about the whereabouts of the coats.[25] | |
Due to technical problems involving the table's virtual board, the access cards acquired by the protagonists of Quarantine were not shown during the sessions, even though they had been produced. In Revealing the Quarantine, there was the opportunity to display them, however, it did not happen, as Cellbit forgot.
The idea for producing the cards was to maintain the SteamPunk aesthetic of the season, but without being too caricatured.[26] |
Enigma of Fear[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
The old Research Room model, located in the Ordo Realitas Base. It was used as a propaganda art to the game and its project on Catarse, serving as example in the Base Game, but being discarded after completion of the goals. |
Discarded Events[]
The Paranormal Order[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Originally, the entire first season was only going to take place at Nostradamus High School, with the agents having to investigate every room to deal with the various spirits there. For example, Gustavo, best friend of Gabriel Opspor, was a mocking spirit who would only tease the agents during their investigations at the school, neither helping nor hindering them.
| |
The original idea if Agatha survived the first season was that she would go after and kill everyone involved in her case, like Mathew Geleerd and his parents, resulting in another future narrative involving her.
|
Paranormal Order: Initiation[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Initially, Cristopher Cohen would appear in Initiation. By the time Thiago has a 'flashback' with the scene from one of Arnaldo Fritz's films, Cristopher would play the villain, but this was cut because it did not match the character and his choice of roles, something that will be explored in the future, according to Fábio Yabu.[29] |
The Secret in the Forest[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
The initial idea of the 3rd episode of The Secret in the Forest was that the agents would refuge in the Ape Hangers bar when they'll find the Aracnasite, having to kill all of its Dumped Spiders, while protecting the civils, until the only enemy remained would be the Aracnasite.[30] | |
The initial idea of the 5th episode of The Secret in the Forest was that the agents would have to hide as soon as the Haunteds arrived, so they would hear a talk between the bikers that would reveal so much things in the RPG lore, including their relationship with the doctors involved in the Project HC.
| |
Daniel Hartmann could have appeared at the Holy Cradle Hotel as an illusion during the attack of the Guilt Parasite but, according to the Game Master, none of the Players met the conditions for him to appear.[32] | |
The Roottens would appear in the 16th episode of The Secret in the Forest, summoned by The God of Death as its last resort during the last battle, reviving all the Trial Woods bodies and making a chase scene between them and Team H.[33]
| |
There were two versions of the Scratcher that never appeared during The Secret in the Forest, being them the normal Scratcher and the Ooze Scratcher.[34] | |
The Centipede Scorpion is a Holy Cradle creature that was not used during The Secret in the Forest, being only revealed by Cellbit during the extra episode. It could be found at the Mines or during the night if Team H couldn't get protection, and had a poisoning system on its tail, described as really strong by the Game Master.[35] |
Paranormal Order: Deconjuration[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
If D-Force solved the chapel's puzzle in St. Menefreda Orphanage, a crystal dagger cursed with a non-transcendible ritual would have been given. If someone cut itself with it, a flashback with Arnaldo Fritz and child silhouettes would appear,[36] that would reveal way before that Arnaldo Fritz was The Host.[37] | |
Dante's original idea was to be a priest mixing religion and science. After a short discussion, Cellbit and Rakin decided for a very studious Occultist, but still keeping the original idea's appearance.[38] | |
One of the insanities that Erin Parker could get during her battle against Sukkalgir would be kind of a second personality, that other person would be called to play Erin together with Kalera.[39] | |
The idea that LJoga had for Luciano Carvalho after transcending with 50% paranormal exposure was to add the dreadlocks that Fernando had in his original body, but that never happened, since he didn't know his character was Kian.[40]
|
Paranormal Order: Calamity[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
During the Balela podcast, hosted by Calango and Zero, Cellbit revealed that his original plan for the season was to have 2 episodes a week: one starring the Order team face-to-face, on Saturdays and another starring Kian's markeds online, as in other seasons, on Thursdays. This idea was discontinued because it required a lot of work and was humanly impossible.[41] | |
Rakin's idea, during his transition of Deconjuration to Calamity, was to make Dante as a Combatant. This was not possible due to the system's change and that the group wouldn't have an Occultist.[42] | |
There was a puzzle in the Cyclops room in Domus Aurea where, if solved by Team Kian, they would get an unknown ritual.[43] | |
If Team Vultures chose to ally with The Host and The Devil in the 8th episode, a battle with The Magistrate and the Sect of the Masks would happen, joined by her battle music theme that still remains a mystery, since this event never happened.[44] | |
Klaus Zakav, a character introduced in the add-on Surviving the Horror, was originally created and planned to appear in Paranormal Order: Calamity.
|
The Secret in the Island[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Initially, a war on the island was planned between two groups after the revelation of Barnabé Aleno, from which it would be revealed earlier. These groups would be the main characters, along with people from the island of which they discovered their secrets, and the Cult of the Imaginary Friend, having as leader Barnabé, who would make practically a religion, manipulating their allies to fear, leading them to believe that the Imaginary Friend is real.[47] | |
In the first story sketches, the secret would be that the Tipora island was a big creature.[48] | |
If the puzzle of the Lighthouse painting were solved, the same would light it up, emitting a light that, after being pointed to a specific point, something would happen.[49] | |
Wanderley originally would arrive in Tipora in the end of the first episode, besides Cavalcante would die in the same day, but to prevent history from getting rushed early on, these events were moved to the third episode.[50] | |
The Infected Snakes could appear inside the Lighthouse during the 5th episode of The Secret in the Island, having a poison described by the Game Master as very strong, but its encounter was cut due to the rhythm of the episode.[51] | |
Barnabé's death to the Imaginary Friend wasn't planned to happen in the story. Originally, he would flee the church along with Amora shortly after invoking the creature, however, this ended up being changed due to a last-minute decision made by Cellbit.[52] | |
If all the protagonists died in the last episode, an ending with their frames melting would show up. After this, a post-credits scene with Arthur Cervero arriving with Walter, defeating the Imaginary Friend and the remaining creatures, as the Blood Zombies from the dead people during the battle, would occur.[53] |
Signals from the Other Side[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Initially, one of the ideas of the season was to be separated into three parts: the first being in Zucchini Farm; the second being in Antarctica, at a military base, where a dynamic based on The Thing would happen, where one of the players would be randomly chosen to be an imposter and would pretend to be an alien in the base; and the third at TV Varminho's Tower. This idea was discarded for demanding a more extensive production and requiring a longer delay of the season..[54] | |
A mention to Salazar Lourenço was written in the season's script, but according to Cellbit, the Players never found it.[55]
| |
Arnaldo Fritz originally was going to appear in the first episode with Calisto Besatt. However, because Rakin had other appointments on the day, his appearance was moved to the fifth episode.[56] | |
Bilu initially would have a system of pursuit and combat by the 5th floor of the TV Varminho's Tower if it encounters The Five, but this sistema system was discarded due to the long duration of the episode.
| |
The rivalry between Geraldo and Adágio would have a bigger plot during the season if Adágio had survived after the events of the first episode.[58] |
Paranormal Order: Quarantine[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Originally, Sebastian Reis would be one of the protagonists of Paranormal Order: Quarantine, being announced at September 18, 2023 to be played by Forever, a content creator who also participated in QSMP, a multinational Minecraft server.
| |
In case Anderson had been saved from the Infecticide virus instead of his daughter, he would have actively fought against the Infecteds at the end of the first episode of Quarantine. However, he would have a more serious and focused attitude during the final part of Quarantine. During Nidere's chase scenes, he would constantly try to sabotage the protagonists so he could get out of the place alive.[60] | |
In Revealing the Quarantine it was discussed what the original idea for the special was.
The RPG would already start at the facilities in the Arctic and would be a special focused on the Infecteds and a creature that could take the form of one of the protagonists or control the mind of one of them, creating an impostor within the group. However, this idea was later discarded as it did not work very well.[61] |
Enigma of Fear[]
Art | Description |
---|---|
Cellbit told in one of his streams that the initial idea of the first puzzle of the game would reference a cliché of horror games, in which a power fuse is burned and it is necessary to find what is missing. However, it was switched to another puzzle, also based on a horror cliché.[62] |
