Paranormal Order RPG: Surviving the Horror
The Whoosh is an uncontrollable Energy manifestation which exposes itself by stealing the heat and the "essence" of everything it goes through. Due to its peculiar physical form, this monster can be considered a paranormal climatic anomaly.
Appearance[]
The Whoosh is an invisible manifestation that can only be noticed from the blizzard that marks its empty silhouette. This silhouette has a curved shape that creeps through the snow, while it brings with it through the howling wind the sound of dozens of mixed cries, like a fragment of all the essences absorbed from its victims. Synchronized to this sound, several small bursts of ghostly light can be seen in the fog, such as lightning surrounding its translucent form.
In more powerful blizzards, more details of their invisible appearance can be noticed, but that always seems to be different. Eyewitness accounts can vary between an empty face in the snow and one’s own face mixed with others within the flashes of light.
Behaviour[]
The Whoosh is an uncontrollable and irreversible entity, and can only be survived, but never faced. It brings with it a powerful blizzard capable of freezing oceans, bringing down temperature and covering the sky with clouds, as well as absorbing the heat of all who stand in its way, leaving only ice statues that invigorate its vitality. Destroying these statues, however, damages the Whoosh itself.
It is also able to create layers of ice on objects and summon hail from the clouds, as well as heavy rains and windstorms.

- The Whoosh is slightly inspired by SCP, and more in this style will be explored in the future.[1]
- When creating The Whoosh, Cellbit was in doubt between creating a blizzard or a hurricane/storm, but, just as he was developing the idea, the Rio Grande do Sul tragedy occurred, which made him continue with the blizzard idea.[2]
- The Whoosh is one of the only known paranormal manifestations that is not considered a creature itself, along with the Infecticide.
