Synopsis[]
Tormenting nightmares, shocking revelations during a rally and further investigations of the case of Constantino and Noralma leave Amelie, Bárbara, Milo, Olivier and Wanderley curious about the secrets of everyone on the island.
Summary[]
The night was terrible, and because of that, Wanderley is the first to wake up, shaken by the death of his friend. In the distance, a cry is heard and when he gets up, he can hear the sound of a echoing bell. Opening the window, Warderley sees the lighthouse, but the structure seems to be different. He’s not the only one to wake up, Amelie wakes up alone in the room, without anyone, even having slept accompanied. She hears someone banging in the closet, and as she opens it, she sees a wedding dress. Elsewhere, Bárbara wakes up at the docks next to the lighthouse door, but as soon as she decides to enter the site, she begins to hear something coming out of the water, a mysterious silhouette. Olivier also wakes up, but in his parents' room, on the floor. When he tries to leave, he hears something knocking on the closet door, and when he opens it, he sees Cavalcante, faceless. While trying to escape, he sees that the recently deceased was actually heading towards his parents. Wanderley hears the cry, goes towards it, but as he tries to approach the armchair from which the sound comes, he feels his fingers tingling and burning. Wanderley hears someone knocking behind the bookcase while the sound of someone trying to open the door is heard. He decides to go to the window, intending to jump it, being stopped by strange snakes formed by some kind of brown liquid that begin to rise. Amelie sees the wedding dress slowly take the shape of Noralma, the girl tries to run, but as she leaves her room, she sees the phantom bride alone in the hallway. The Florence meets Noralma, but stays paralyzed with fear in front of her. Olivier runs out of his parents' room and tries to scream, but no sound is emitted, he cannot speak. Several figures begin to appear going towards the boy, who is forced down the stairs, getting in front of the painting of Constantino, that seems to be watching him. The painting doesn't look normal, it looks liquid, Olivier then decides to throw himself into it in order to escape. Bárbara, now seeing two forms with maid and butler clothes coming out of the water, runs to the lighthouse, being chased upstairs. Upstairs, the girl notices that the painting of the lighthouse was half liquid, and then she enters it. Wanderley is cornered by all the creatures, and kicks one of the snakes that climbed into his bed.
So after a long night, it’s finally a new day on the island of Tipora. Bárbara and the Florence brothers wake up scared and spend time talking about their nightmares. Wanderley also wakes up and prays before leaving his room.
In other place, Milo wakes up and as always goes towards the living room, seeing Miguel sitting next to his father, that has a disappointed expression on his face, while Miguel smiles. Bartô knocks on the table, emitting a bell sound instead of a knock. Milo hears a baby crying sound coming from his father’s room and goes towards, breaking the door and entering. As Bartô gets closer and closer, Milo sees a door under the bed. Milo opens it, thus waking up from the nightmare.
After finally waking up, he meets his father, who hands him as a birthday present a machete, the same one he had stolen the day before to protect himself. They go to the room, where they talk and Milo creates courage to confront him about who Miguel is. They argue, Bartô denies everything and says he had two children, but Evandro soon arrives and interrupts, taking Bartô to the police station for questioning, and Milo then goes to his room and takes the diary he shared with Miguel.
In the mansion, Olivier and Wanderley leave their rooms, facing 3 people and a screaming at the end of the stairs. It’s Olivier’s parents and Amelie, who desperately try to calm down Mrs. Lívia, who is upset fighting with the big painting of Constantino. Everyone fights there and after a while they manage to control Lívia, who leaves the house, not before she has scratched Montel and fought with Angelina. Bárbara follows her, asking why she hides so many secrets, then the two leave the mansion while Otávio and Adrian arrive at the door.
Otávio was sent to conduct a small interrogation, beginning by interrogating Amelie. Adrian goes to the kitchen with Wanderley, so he could cook something for the family to eat.
On his house, Milo takes the diary, but can’t open it because he remembers the nightmare. The boy runs to his father’s room and breaks the door, since it was locked, soon going to check under the bed, where in place of the door that existed in his nightmare, now there is a locked chest with a large lock. The boy goes to the mansion, where he finds Bárbara and together the two go to the cliff of the island to read the diary. Bárbara cries with the texts, and says that Miguel would like Milo to read what was written in those pages. The moment doesn't last long, Bárbara sees a figure with the corner of her eyes and finds an extremely old and crumpled paper on the edge of the cliff. The note was written by whom they believe to be Tobias Conclior, one of the mansion workers at the time of using construction who was in love with Noralma. With this information, the two go to the mansion, but when they get there and talk briefly, Milo sees a figure, just like Bárbara. He ignores and everyone continues to talk about the notes they are finding.
After the clock shows 12:00 PM, Wanderley and the Florence’s parents go to the church to attend the rally, alerted earlier by Otávio and Adrian, with this, the youngers stay in the house and investigate the rooms of Cavalcante and Wanderley, but find nothing new.
Wanderley arrives at the church and sits in the back, not long after the four youngers appear and sit down, listening to side conversations and discussing the case. Evandro begins his speech that there are no monsters on this island and that the case will be solved in an explainable way. While this happens, Maíra, the church's nun, together with Evandro, blame Bartô, that in the middle of the discussion raises like a beast, with pupils of different sizes and with black veins on the face. A fight starts in the middle of the church.
After much confusion and the priest having a heart attack after seeing the painting, Bartô is calmed down and taken prisoner by Evandro. Wanderley, Amelie and Olivier stay in the church to help the collapsed priest, finding a strange door locked by large padlocks in one of the back rooms of the church. Bárbara and Milo follow the policemen, and when Evandro follows with Bartô, the two young men find papers from the autopsy of Cavalcante, thus deciding to go to Milo’s house try to open the drawer locked in his father’s room.
Amelie and Olivier go in search of Bárbara and Milo at the police station, leaving Wanderley alone with Návia and Barnabé. Wanderley talks to the two and asks to be able to pay homage to the body of his former co-worker, soon after heading to the house of Barnabé. Milo and Bárbara try to open the locked drawers in Bartô’s room, but the key does not work. Amelie and Olivier do not find who they were looking for at the police station, finding only their parents being interrogated, then go to Barnabé's house and talk to Amora, that gives two drawings to Olivier; one being the gift of Milo and the other a drawing of Milo, Olivier, Amora, Ian and Bisteca together.
Barnabé delivers the things Wanderley had asked for and they start walking back to the mansion. Everyone goes through the forest and in the end they meet, talking about everything they found that day. After much conversation, they manage to gain the trust of Wanderley, who reveals that he hid the briefcase from his former co-worker, as well as the painting that they finally create the courage to look at. A painting that even though everyone is looking together, generates a strange feeling, a tingling, but Bárbara covers the painting. Everyone is exhausted, so they decide to eat and sleep after another busy day on the island of Tipora.
