The Secret in the Forest - Part 1 is the second graphic novel of the Paranormal Order series and the first part of the second season arc. It's an adaptation of the tabletop RPG campaign The Secret in the Forest, based on an adapted version of the Call of Cthulhu system. It stars Arthur Cervero, Cesar Oliveira, Cristopher Cohen, Elizabeth Webber, Joui Jouki and Thiago Fritz.

The graphic novel was announced at September 17, 2023 during the second event of Revealed Secrets.^[4] It's made by the partnership between the creator of Paranormal Order, Cellbit, and famous brazilian writer Fábio Yabu, creator of the online comic series Combo Rangers and the brazilian franchise Sea Princesses.^[2] One point to highlight is that there are several differences between the graphic novel and the RPG campaign, mostly being script adaptations to make the story more fluid and cohesive as a reading experience; therefore, not all of The Secret in the Forest - Part 1 is considered canonical.

Part 1 was released by Jambô Editora at December 5, 2023^[3] only in its physical version.

The entire graphic novel intentionally "plays" with chronology and Time, featuring multiple flashbacks and flashforwards inserted into the story.
In the graphic novel, the appearances of Ivan, Marcelo, and Murilo were significantly altered since these characters previously had overly basic appearances with no major differences between them.
