Summary[]

A strong fog begins to spread through the place, making it more frightening before the presence of the new evil figure, the Black Death Carrion. Tension and panic increases with the aura of death that the monster carries. Liz is the first to attack, shooting at the creature’s collarbone, which continues walking as if nothing had happened. Thiago also shoots it, this time right in the skull of the Carrion, who turns to him slowly. A piece of the rotted skull is torn out, but it doesn’t seem to have had as much effect. Thiago feels an inexplicable emptiness the moment his gaze crosses with that of the creature, and his world darkens. The only thing he can see is the red symbol, and his hands start to shake.

One of the remaining Haunteds runs away, while the other tries to shoot the Carrion, missing his shots miserably because of the shock. Murilo, still desperate with the death of Marcelo, can't react. Ivan tries to shoot the creature and misses, while Brúlio instantly kills the other Haunted. Liz runs towards Thiago. Cesar, that was aiming, shoots the Carrion, but just like Thiago, his shot didn’t have a very devastating effect. The creature turns to the hacker, causing him the same emptiness that the journalist felt, and his world darkens.

Under the control of the Carrion, Thiago aims his gun to Liz's head, with black tears coming out of his eyes. The scientist notices the movement and holds the weapon of her friend, immobilizing him, in an attempt to shoot using the weapon of her friend, but failing to be weaker. Elizabeth yells to Joui to run towards Cesar, noticing he could be in the same weird situation of Thiago, after also crossing eyes with the creature. The gymnast calls for Cesar, who immobilized, trembling, does not answer him, and Joui - worried about his companion - decides to run to him. Thiago, under the control of the Carrion, hits a very strong punch in Liz’s rib, crying black, with no expression on his face.

Cesar, also crying black tears and trembling, turns the gun towards Joui. The creature then revives the body of Marcelo, like a zombie, and it punches Murilo in the face. Brúlio shoots in the monster's eye, taking off another piece of its skull. Then, furious, the Carrions roars and turns its gaze towards the leader of the Vultures. Liz tries to pull Thiago’s arm, but fails.

Then, Cesar shoots at Joui's face, knocking him to the ground at the same time, on the verge of death. As soon as he takes the shot, Cesar awakens from his trance, having a panic attack upon realizing what he had just done, with the same black liquid still dripping desperately from his eyes. At this moment, Thiago also awakens, and is frightened to realize that he is beating his best friend. The two hears the gunshot, and see Joui falling hard to the ground. Thiago shoots the Carrion, full of hatred, destroying another piece of the monster’s face, leaving only half. The creature jumps up to Brúlio, that punches its face as a counter. In the meantime, Marcelo bites Murilo’s face, ripping off a huge piece of his cheek. Frightened, Murilo holds Marcelo to try to stop him. The Carrion then overcomes Brúlio’s strength, thrusting his claws into his chest and stomach.

Arthur comes out of the corner that he was hidden and sees the brutal scene of his father screaming in pain after being fiercely attacked by the monster. Desperate, he shouts for Brúlio and shoots, tearing one of the creature’s arms off. Liz runs to Joui to help, while Cesar, still in shock, believes he killed him and cannot move. Brúlio lets go of the Carrion, and under its control, points the gun at his companion Ivan, crying black tears. Marcelo rips off a huge piece of Murilo’s shoulder, which begins to bleed a lot. Liz begins to rescue Joui, in tears, who is unconscious, but alive. Everyone keeps shooting the Carrion, desperate, but it doesn’t have much effect. Liz assures Cesar that Joui is alive, but still, the hacker cries out of despair at the fault of his actions. Brúlio shoots Ivan, killing him instantly. The Carrion runs towards Arthur, and jumps on him to attack him, but he successfully dodges. Thiago shoots Marcelo's zombie, who falls hard on the stairs at the same time. The son of the leader of the Vultures shoots the Carrion twice, and one of them destabilizes it, making it even angrier. The creature rises up to shove its claws into Arthur’s face, and succeeds by making three gigantic cuts. The sudden blow, at once, knocks Arthur down, leaving him in a struggle between life and death.

Brúlio, still controlled by the monster, points the gun to his own head, and in his last act, pulls the trigger, dying by suicide with his last bullet. The creature takes two shots from Liz, already losing strength gradually, crumbling into black ooze. Cesar prepares to shoot the monster. The creature, already damaged and acting wild and furious, seemed to be on the verge of death. Cesar then approaches where Marcelo’s body is, still crying for almost killing his friend. He remembers his father, and trembling, points the weapon at the creature, more specifically, in the bright red symbol. Finally, he takes the last shot at the Carrion, blowing its head off, and ending the massacre formed in that environment. It crumbles into black ooze, and ceases to exist.

There was no turning back. Many lives had been lost, and the mansion was even more bloodaxed and full of bodies. Joui and Arthur nearly lost their lives in battle, and a portion of the protagonists' minds died there.

Liz jumps out the second-floor window and runs to Arthur, who was still at risk of his life, screaming and crying in despair and terror. Due to the trauma, the only surviving Vulture develops a phobia of the color red. The young guitarist was sure that his death had come. Cesar also goes to him and tries to help him, but fails because of nervousness. Liz manages to stabilize the wound, and Arthur faints. Thiago and Liz go to Murilo, trying to save him, but he was already dead. The woman tries to do several cardiac massages on him, but ends up being in vain. She goes back to the guitarist, and sits down, putting his head in her lap, and making stitches on her face.

Thiago and Cesar go to Joui, who is alive but unconscious. Thiago says that the two need to take him to the hospital immediately. Both carries Joui in their arms, and the hacker breaks down in tears once again, apologizing to his friend. The journalist says they don’t have time for that, because his life was still at stake, and that it wasn’t his fault. Agreeing, he calms down and the two carries Joui’s body down the stairs. Downstairs, the group doctor looked after Arthur, who had much larger wounds. Then the three who were still well take the woundeds to the car.

The team passes through the heap of bodies lying on the ground, feeling once again the weight of the lives that were lost there. People with dreams, family, friends. People who were loved, and still had what to live for. These people would never come back. The Vultures, the Haunteds, there’s only one member left.

Liz continues the stitches of Arthur, laying Joui on the other side of the car, while Thiago drives and Cesar faces the void, crying, looking from time to time at Joui. They face the mansion once again, the moon shining brightly against their eyes. No one says a word along the way. The group arrives at the hospital at dawn. Arthur wakes up briefly and cries. Cesar, panicked, enters the hospital screaming for help. When the hospital girls ask for an explanation of what happened, Liz tries to justify it, but no one really has the strength to answer, and they just beg to save the lives of their friends. Joui and Arthur are rushed to the operating room. Liz is also taken away because of her rib, broken by Thiago during the battle.

The journalist then goes out in search of a cigarette, in a moment of relapse, but before that, Liz sends a message to him, asking him for a whiskey, and he goes to get it, taking it to her. The two drink, and Thiago apologizes for hurting her. Liz forgives him and leaves the room, trying to find Joui in the operating room, but the nurses remove her. Liz finds Arthur, stabilized and unconscious, and lies next to him, being awakened and sent back later. Cesar remains seated, silent, having anxiety crises, until a nurse goes to talk to him, saying that Arthur is fine, but Joui is a more delicate case, but that it would be fine too. Thiago goes out of the hospital, and smokes, finally giving in to his relapse.

Cesar and Thiago decides to return to the mansion meanwhile, at dawn, to bury the bodies of the Vultures and burn the bodies of the Haunteds, who turns into a giant bonfire. The two take the bodies to the bar, and try to open the door to get a shovel. They fail to break down the door, only to discover the key inside one of Brúlio’s pockets. They dig, and hours later, Ivete arrives at the scene, desperate after knowing what happened, falling into tears and denial. The duo takes the shovel, and begin to bury their allies near the Ape Hangers bar. Ivete cries, desperate for the loss of her family, asking for Arthur to attend the burial, because "one should never bury a Vulture without the presence of other Vultures".

During this time, Arthur, Liz and Joui wakes up in the hospital. Arthur, panicked, searches for his father. He yells for Liz, who texted Cesar asking where he was. The guitarist finds her, crying, and Joui hears his cries, going to its origin. The three unites, and the moment Liz starts talking, Arthur already knows what happened. His father was dead, just like all his friends, his family. He collapses in tears, and discredited, he doesn't know what to do.

Thiago goes to the hospital, and finds the trio in the hospital. Not knowing what to say, he waits for the group to enter. After the nurses' permission, the group goes to the bar, where the bodies were being buried. Arthur can’t resist seeing everyone he loved for the last time and runs to the only person left: Ivete. Ivete takes a picture of the Vultures and puts them in front of the graves, hugging the last vulture, knowing that they only had each other. None of them holds themselves. Despair takes over, along with the deep emptiness, and everything ceases to have meaning for a moment. The rest of the group remains mostly silent, speaking a few supporting phrases, which the man can not answer. They finish burying all the bodies. Slowly, the Vultures become just a memory. The memories go to the grave with them, forever. At one point, Cesar hugs Joui and asks for forgiveness for what he did to his face. Everyone pays respect to the group, and little by little, they enter the bar.

Inside, Cesar and Joui, the first ones to enter the bar, dialogue about what happened in the mansion, and their fear of losing more people. Joui says that Cristopher would be proud of Cesar, and apologizes for having envied him for having a loving father. The two promise that they are a new family to each other, and intend to play LOL together. Ivete serves them a drink, and stays a little alone. In the meantime, Thiago sleeps a little, and Liz is next in. Arthur smokes one of Ivete’s special cigars, and also enters the place. Cesar takes Cris’s cell phone, at Liz’s request, and calls the policeman Victor Rott. The policeman reports complaints from the local cemetery, in the grave of Rafael Montes. Saying that people claimed that there was a strange grass in the place, and it seemed to be cursed. He also says that more people from Carpazinha went missing, like Murilo from the hotel and the nurse Cibele. After hanging up the phone, the two discusses what to do about Arthur’s emotional, and some details of the papers collected about the Project Holy Cradle. The scientist also proposes to let Joui and Arthur rest for a while. Cesar does not agree much with the idea, but proposes that they comment on it with Thiago.

Thiago wakes up soon after and talks with Cesar and Elizabeth, disagreeing with the idea of moving the other two members of the mission temporarily. The trio then decides to give the group a good night’s sleep, allowing the injured to stabilize better. Liz questions Arthur about his desire to continue on the mission, and the guitarist prefers to stay to help. Liz updates Joui and Arthur on Victor’s account. So the team decides that they would go to the grave to solve the problem the next day. They therefore decide to return to the mansion to retrieve more clues and the team leaves the bar.
