Synopsis[]
With a wild lusidii dead body in their feet, the team faces an horde of monsters in the forest's fog until coming back to Holy Cradle. There, they find the truth about one of the most dearest habitants.
Summary[]
With the body of that strange Lusidii-like creature beneath your feet, Elizabeth, Thiago, Joui and Cesar feel a strong presence fluttering through the fog. As Cesar tries to lift the body in order to take to the Holy Cradle, a gust of fog takes the cove where they were. From it, arises Figures, a Nidere and an Ooze Horse, as well as two ooze snakes, that the team didn't fight before. Liz and Thiago are immediately trapped by the ophidian body of the new monsters, while Joui stops the Ooze Horse with his katana. Cesar runs across the battlefield, exchanging slingshots with powerful punches from the Figures.
Joui, then intervenes between Nidere and Thiago, motionless and surrounded by all kinds of beasts. The canine creature, with only half the body of ooze, attacks him in the wound on the neck, leaving him seriously injured. Thiago remains cornered, only protected by his armor and shield. Eventually, Cesar manages to dispel the Figures around the meadow, Liz disembowels the Horse with her scythes, while Joui and Thiago finish the two silt snakes. Cesar takes a photo from the Source#Fugitive Source's body, and then they run back to Holy Cradle.
As soon as they arrive in the farm, the four see Arthur along with Jennifer, dying for her head wound. Cesar and Thiago ask him to enter the barn with the injured Joui and Liz, to protect themselves, but the young guitarist refuses to leave the animal’s side. The group explains that they will go to the house of The Doctor to get green crystals to heal everyone. Arthur agrees, finally giving in to shelter from the fog with his friends.
Crossing the opaque streets of the city, Cesar and Thiago cross with The Blacksmith, trying to understand what were the strange noises that the night had brought. The two explain that they killed the creature that was attacking the farm animals, and show him the photo of his body. The Blacksmith is perplexed and urges them to return inside as soon as they heal their friends. After taking the Doctor back to the barn, Joui and Liz are healed, but the medic says "Jennifer" will need surgery because of her severe injuries, and Arthur soon volunteers to help him.
With this, Thiago, Liz, Joui and Cesar return to the Hotel, where they can spend the night safer. There, they argue with The Hotelier the need to follow the rules of the place, such as the one that says that everyone should sleep in separate rooms. After much discussion, they end up accepting their terms, goes to bath and sleep in their respective rooms.
During the night, Liz, Thiago and Cesar hear a vacuum cleaner crossing the corridors of the hotel, but decide to ignore it. When they wake up, they find the Hotelier covered in blood for facing bad omens all night. He says that the Holy Cradle looked much more irritated than usual and was very surprised The Gatekeeper didn't ring the bell to announce the arrival of the morning. This arouses suspicion among the members of the Order, who plan to go immediately to the Tower to check what was happening.
Arriving there, they find the door open, and soon, Thiago notices rags stained with blood and remains of green crystal under the Lusidii's bed. All the clues pointed to the fact that the Gatekeeper might actually be The Helper's killer. Joui runs to warn the Blacksmith as soon as possible. Thiago and Liz climb to the watchtower, where they find several papers with the spiral symbol drawn. Joui crosses paths with the Blacksmith leaving his home, and explains to him what they found in the Tower. In this, The Gardener arrives running, with the news that a body was found in the woods.
Joui and the Blacksmith run there, and come across the body of The Collector on a log, with his throat cut and the symbol drawn with blood, when asked whose trunk it was, it is revealed that it was the trunk of the Blacksmith himself. In this, the Doctor is called, ascertaining that he was killed in a manner similar to his son. The Blacksmith tells Joui to fetch Arthur, and the team should meet him at the Smithy as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Liz and Thiago consider hiding the truth from the Blacksmith, but he arrives soon and everyone follows him back to his home. There, Joui theorizes that this should be the reason why the Gatekeeper told Thiago that he could light his lighter in Holy Cradle - because he had other intentions in the village.
Faced with the confusion, the community leader orders the members of the Order to go to the Cave to open the strange door inside with the card taken from the Crazy Gramps. As the guide, the Blacksmith chooses The Miner, that warns the group about the dangers of the place. Cesar asks the Blacksmith for a new ammunition for his sling, red crystals. Prepared, everyone heads to the entrance of the Cave, with no idea of the dangers and mysteries hidden in its walls.
