The Secret in the Forest is the second season of the series Paranormal Order, sequel of The Paranormal Order. It's a tabletop RPG campaign based in an adapted version of the Call of Cthulhu system. Organized by the streamer and youtuber Cellbit, it stars Cesar Oliveira Cohen, Cristopher Cohen, Elizabeth Webber, Joui Jouki, Thiago Fritz and posteriorly Arthur Cervero.

The series was played on Twitch, and it lasted from April 11 to July 25, 2020, totalizing 16 episodes of, on average, 3 to 4 hours each one. The series can also be found on YouTube.

On August 1, 2020, a special stream happened where players reunited to discuss the events of the season and their characters, in addition to clarifying viewers' doubts and revealing some of the secrets that were not discovered in the series.

On September 17, 2023, during the second Revealed Secrets, it was announced that, like Paranormal Order: Initiation, this campaign will also have its separate graphic novel adaptation in parts, being developed together with the screenwriter Fábio Yabu, and will also continue with the main arts made by Akila. This graphic novel was called "The Secret in the Forest - Part 1".^[1]

Introduction[]

On April 11, around ten o'clock in the morning, a Reality Order team (at the time called "Order of Truth") has a meeting with the man known as Mr. Verity in the big commercial Alpha tower, in the Faria Lima avenue, in São Paulo. The first to get in there is Joui Jouki, that after looking for the meeting room indicated by Mr. Verity, meets other team members: Cristopher Cohen, Cesar Oliveira, Thiago Fritz e Elizabeth Webber.

Everyone goes to Verity's room, and then, he presents Team Kelvin, a veteran agents team that went out to a city in Rio Grande do Sul's interior to investigate a strange murder case envolving a Spiral Symbol, until they mysteriously disappeared without prior warning.

After a deep discussion about the mission, everyone bids farewell to Verity, to prepare yourselfs and travel to São Paulo's airport, going to Carpazinha's city with the goal of finding Miguel Cariad, Mariana Larona and Kenan Thomas.
