The Mineworker was a Lusidii and one of several inhabitants of Holy Cradle, responsible for working in the Holy Cradle Mines alongside The Miner and other miners.

Miner had his first appearance in the 9th episode of The Secret in the Forest, being at Doctor's house recovering.[1] He ended up dying after the burning of the Dimensions Parasite, burning in flames alongside Holy Cradle.[2]

Appearance[]

The Mineworker was a strong man, with a black mustache, who, like all the inhabitants of the village of Holy Cradle, had grayish skin, completely black eyes, pointed ears and stripes on his face, which in his case formed an arc that came from from his right cheek, through his nose and ending at his mouth, in addition to a stripe that came from the left part of his face and ended at his right eye. He wore a leather helmet and wore a red tank top, brown pants with suspenders, knee pads and iron boots.[3]

Biography[]

The Mineworker has his first contact with the Team H while he is still asleep in one of the beds in the Doctor's office, as he is recovering from an injury to his leg. Upon regaining consciousness, this inhabitant welcomes the Order's agents and asks who brought them to the village, surprising himself to discover that they arrived on their own.[1]

After this meeting, and with his health improving, the Miner says goodbye to the new Ignaros and to the Doctor, thanking him for the treatment, and leaves for the Tavern with the intention of helping The Tavernkeeper to take the beers for The Collector approval party.[4]

This inhabitant was again seen assisting in the search for The Gatekeeper and together with the rest of the city watching what was happening in the woods after the capture of this ancient source.[5][6][7]

After Team H's confrontation against the last herald of the Parasite of Dimensions, the Miner succumbed to the flames and insanity along with the rest of the innocents of Holy Cradle who, with the defeat of the The God of Death, had their "Holy" plucked from within one's own mind.[8]
