The Helper[1]
The Helper was a Lusidii and one of several inhabitants of Holy Cradle, being the helper of Blacksmith.
He first appearance in the 9th episode of The Secret in the Woods, being seen by Team H at the smithy.[2] During a melee caused by Thiago, the Helper runs to the smithy to get weapons, however, while there, he is attacked and has his neck cut.[3]
Appearance[]
The Helper was a man with straight gray hair, a long beard also gray, and who, like all the inhabitants of the village of Holy Cradle, had gray skin, completely black eyes, pointed ears and stripes on his face, which, in your case, form a symbol similar to the letter "F". As clothing he wore a sleeveless black shirt, with a brown jumpsuit over it, reddish pants and several bags around his waist.[2]
Personality[]
Like the other inhabitants, he was very optimistic and friendly, with great pride in the city he lives in, happily welcoming the arrival of the group of ignarii. He didn't use to say much, only when necessary, even though they were still very short sentences. He was very loyal to his boss, the Blacksmith.

Past[]
Not much is known about his past, but it is known that The Helper lived for a while in Holy Cradle, with his father, The Doctor. After the pilgrimage of Cibele, who would become "The Nurse" in Holy Cradle, he began to show interest in her.[4]
The Secret in the Woods[]
When a group of Ignarii mysteriously arrive in the village, he is one of the Lusidii, together with Blacksmith, who guides them through the city, explaining the customs of his people. He accompanies the group as they tour the Trial Woods, where The Collector's approval is taking place, and then past the Doctor's house and the Tavern, where he has the opportunity to present his favorite dish, Butter in Butter. Then, when the Ignarii were heading to the Farm, two of them, Joui Jouki and Thiago Fritz, decide to enter the labyrinth in the center of the city. The Helper volunteers to guide them, in a friendly tone, and as soon as they decide to leave, they find the way out in seconds.[5]
Shortly afterwards, however, when the Blacksmith asks the Helper to demonstrate how the residents of Holy Cradle attract new pilgrims, Thiago lights a lighter next to the labyrinth and Night falls.[6] The Helper runs back to the Blacksmithing in order to get weapons to face the creatures, but in the meantime, he is attacked with a knife, his neck is lacerated and dies.[3] The word "Source" and "The Symbol" are drawn in blood along the side of your body. When the party finds the Helper, Liz notices that he has remnants of green crystal in his mouth. It is later revealed that he was murdered by The Gatekeeper who killed him in an attempt to "save" the Helper from the control of the Holy Cradle.[7]

- His favorite dish is Butter in Butter, a kind of hybrid food and drink from Holy Cradle.[8]
- Originally The Helper would have a much smaller participation being only in the blacksmith scene that he is presented and would only appear again when he was found dead.
- The Helper is the second fastest player-controlled character to die in the entire RPG, dying within just 3 hours of his appearance. He was surpassed by Carol in POQ, who died less than 2 and a half hours after her debut.
- As stated in the Extra Episode, he didn't know about the secret of Holy Cradle.[9]
- Cellbit revealed that it was Felps who asked him to play a player-controlled character who had a programmed death in less than an episode.
- The Helper was the first character to have a variant miniature for the downed/dead status.
