The Ones
Tenebris is a city described as "impossible", being mentioned multiple times during Paranormal Order: Calamity although it has never been precisely explained, resulting in limited concrete information about it at the moment. It's said that Tenebris has six bells located in towers and that it is the primordial manifestation of Reality.
The Latin word tenebris holds various meanings, including darkness, obscurity, ignorance, and concealment. According to the Diary of God, Tenebris can transfer or destroy control over the Chains of Reality.
Tenebris' Bells[]
The Six Bells of Tenebris are incomprehensible objects until this moment. It is only known that they are connected to the Impossible City and that each one is situated in its designated tower. The method by which the bridge is evoked for these objects to physically emerge in Reality is unknown, as both bells seen so far have been found in different places without any prior explanation of how they appeared there. The toll of each bell can have different effects on people, yet all of them cause a strong paranormal effect on those involved in their own way.
When a chosen individual connects to a bell, they can perform the Passage, also known as the Sacrifice. However, the choice to undergo this passage is described as a paradox, in which the person must be free enough to choose to abandon their own freedom and become one with something greater and better for the Other Side.
It's also stated that "the bells represent the impossible union of what repels each other". Although there aren't many certainties about the meaning of this phrase, it is speculated that it refers to the Other Side Elements. About the main bases for this interpretation is the fact that the Imaginary Friend was originated from the union of Blood and Death, while the Outsider arose from the impossible union of Knowledge and Energy, both through the processes that the Bells are capable of performing.

The bell of Tipora was known to the ancient natives of the island. The bell would resonate, causing manifestations of a liquid resembling ink that evoked sensations of addiction and intense emotions in the affected individuals. Much of the fear's effect on the island stemmed from the presence of the bell and the subsequent manipulation of people's fears by the inhabitants of the existing village there. It was discovered in a passage beneath the Moretti mansion, however, it was damaged and only a painting of its tower remained on the wall.
Varminho's Bell[]

The bell of Varminho was discovered in the headquarters of TV Varminho, a place where people were investigating the potential signals emitted by the bell. This bell is connected to certain entities referred to as Aliens and when the protagonists of Signals from the Other Side connect with the bell through capsules, they felt compelled to enter a door bearing the symbol of Tenebris and become one with the infinite.

Marc appears to have a certain knowledge about Tenebris and related matters, as seen in the 4th episode of Calamity, when he feels discomfort upon seeing a circular symbol with triangles present on the Symbol of the Diary of God on one of its pages. [1]

Kian[]
Unknown Occultist
Kian, when confronted by Joui Jouki under the influence of the Devil's Hatred, is taken by an Unknown Occultist in a black cloak with yellow eyes, who carries with them the same symbol associated with Tenebris as mentioned above.[2] According to him, the reason for this intervention is because the Rules are changing, and they must hurry because of it.[3]
They were there at the beginning, and they are the ones who will be there to witness the end.

Plautus[]
Plautus was one of the Governors of The Colosseum and the main figure responsible for the prohibition of gladiator games due to his way of conducting them. Preventing the terrible carnage that occurred daily under his command seemed impossible, as he not only managed to motivate the Romans through greed but had also somehow established his own cult that organized his games and protected him at all costs. However, one day Plautus inexplicably disappeared without a trace, leading his followers to repeat the same phrase desperately:
Plautus in tenebris abisse.

Gal's sister[]
According to Kian, he made a promise that remains unknown until now, and shortly afterward, he reveals to Gal the true fate of his sister. This is the first time she is mentioned in the story.[5]
One thing you can be certain of, Gal: I keep my promises. Your sister is alive in Tenebris.

Ângelo Amadeu Moretti[]
Ângelo Amadeu Moretti, an ancestor of Constantino Moretti, was the patriarch of the Moretti Family and the leader of the Order of Hunters, also known as the Guardians of Secrets: an Italian-origin family mostly composed of explorers and bon-vivants who traveled the world in search of new discoveries. [6] At a certain point in his life, Ângelo Moretti encountered Tenebris, later failing in his mission to rediscover it.
Even though I failed to find Tenebris again after so many years, I leave this life hopeful that Reality is a more protected place than when I found it.

Natives of the Tipora island[]
Tipora's native
The Tipora Island was one of the locations where one of the six bells of Tenebris was situated. The island's natives kept a door hidden with the symbol of Tenebris imprinted on it, in addition to concealing a kind of liquid with paranormal effects that caused peculiar sensations. After being exposed to it and becoming addicted, they often stamped the symbol of Tenebris on their faces.
My future will be the eternal trance of euphoria, as well as those who inhabited this place before my ancestors.

Guizo
Guilherme Santos, also known as Guizo, was a young agent of an independent group of paranormal hunters called The Five. After investigating the Aliens, Guizo and his companions had direct contact with Varminho's Bell. Guizo decided to enter the grand door and undergo the Passage, as he had always been fascinated by mysterious and unknown things. Guizo saw the Passage as the realization of a dream and, since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown.

- Obscurité, the name of the group that Marc is the "leader" of, when translated from French to Latin, results in Tenebris.
- Tenebris has no connection to the story of Enigma of Fear.[9]
- The symbol of Tenebris was introduced to Cellbit by Orenjiro without knowing the context of Tenebris, but he liked the idea and adopted it as the current symbol.[10]
