Succ is a Death paranormal creature with complement of Energy,[1] but of uncertain origin. It was one of the creatures present in Holy Cradle, manifesting himself to kill those who threatened the city.
Although its sounds can be heard at Holy Cradle Hotel during the 12th episode,[2] its first official appearance was in the 13th episode of The Secret in the Forest, where he was found by Team H in the Blue Crystals area in the Mines.[3] It was killed by a Cesar Oliveira Cohen with Red Crystal.[4]
Appearance[]
Succ has a slim and lean appearance; having gray and wrinkled skin with a large snake-shaped neck, where the end of it leads to a mouth separated into six sections. Of it, a large extension similar to its neck is notable, where at its end is a second circular mouth with several thin and pointed teeth in inner layers used to trap its victims. It walks on four thin legs that don't look like ordinary limbs, but just look like small, semi-spider paws. On your body too, there are two holes where your lungs would be.
During the The Secret in the Forest events, Succ has a similar but different appearance to its current form, only having a single circular mouth attached to its neck.[3]
Behavior[]
Succ is an agile creature with little resistance, and tends to attack a single target. Its sole purpose is to suck the oxygen out of other living beings. Therefore, the Succ clamps its teeth into its victim's skull and jaw with extreme force, then begins sucking the person's air into himself. With the victim completely trapped in their teeth, the only way out for someone who has been attacked by Succ is the help of others around them.[5] It is constantly sucking the air around it, it is very common for this sound to be confused with a conventional vacuum cleaner.
Abilities[]
- Suction: Being its main feature, Succ has the ability to suck the air from the outside in like a vacuum cleaner, creating a vacuum in small places. It makes use of this by attaching its mouth to a victim's face to suck out all the air in their lungs, potentially killing them by asphyxiation.[6]
Trivia[]
- Because its appearance was grotesque and bizarre, it was necessary for the Team H to do a sanity test even though they were already used to strange paranormal meeting.[7]
- Succ's design was inspired by an art of one of Triz Pariz's monsters, who draws creatures as a hobby.[8] Triz was later called up as a player in Paranormal Order: Deconjuration.[9]
- Succ's original profile was revealed during the live to celebrate the closing of the collective funding campaign for Enigma of Fear.[10]
- During the Balela podcast, hosted by Calango and Zero, Triz reveals that originally Succ was a bipedal creature.[11]
