Shopping Night is the eighth mission of Paranormal Order RPG and the first mission of the official add-on Surviving the Horror, being previously announced at April 28, 2024[1] and released as the last chapter of the add-on at July 5, 2024, along with The Terminal of Doom.[2]
This is a 0% EXP mission that uses the new class, Survivor, on its 1st stage, serving to introduce the new rules and optional mechanics of the Playbook add-on. The whole story and characters of this mission are considered canonical within the Paranormal Order universe, however, due to the unpredictability of endings generated by players' choices, there is no objective and true end.
Introduction[]
A storm ends up trapping several civilians in a shopping mall. What at first seems just a mere nuisance quickly turns into a nightmare as increasingly strange events occur. Soon, the characters realize that they may have come to the mall hoping to go out with their purchases... But they'll be lucky if they get away with their lives.
