The Relics of Calamity are paranormal objects of immeasurable power that can only be used by Markeds. Wielding a Relic of Calamity is the equivalent of having a complete Paranormal Exposure.
The Relics of Calamity are extremely powerful paranormal objects that can only be used by Markeds. Wielding a Relic is the equivalent of having a complete Paranormal Exposure, also making it possible to shape the Paranormal and its "Pillars". The greatest concentration of information about the Relics is the Diary of God, a grimoire that was in possession of Arnaldo Fritz while he spent much of his life researching the Relics, attaching his findings there.[2]
It is known that there are four Relics of Calamity, each of which is related to an Element of the Other Side and responsible for allowing them to manifest themselves in Reality. It is also known that these Relics supplant each other in the same order of advantage and weakness as the Elements.
During Amphitruo's games, all files of Ordo Calamitas' library had their contents altered for descriptions about the Relics of each Element, with information about the one from Blood,[3] Knowledge,[4] Death[5] and Energy.[6] Although the papers containing the information have the same Diary of God pattern, it is noticeable that the present writing is different from the other pages of it.
Relic of Knowledge[]
Appearance[]
The Despair Mask is a white mask with three large grooves that descend from the eyes and mouth to the edge of the mask, already in the region of the nose there is a slit in the shape of an inverted heart similar to a skull. A feature of distress and despair is formed. On the forehead of the Mask there is the Relic of Knowledge symbol marked. The translation of the sigils of the symbol leads to the repetition of a single phrase: "Nostis Omnia Perdet Omnia" (To know everything is to lose everything), the Knowledge's guide phrase.
History[]
The Relic of Knowledge wielder is The Magistrate.[4] It is not known what is the origin of the Despair Mask or who was its first wielder, only that it is in reality "from the beginning",[7] and that the Sect of the Masks, group formed by the Relic's unique mind, has been protecting balance for thousands of years extremely cautiously, never directly interfering with events. To protect balance, the Sect of the Masks offers deals to people who become too powerful, thus giving them the choice to join the sect or face it in combat.
In some moment before A.D. 67, the Masks were operating with Gaius joining the group.[8] However, under unknown circumstances, the Despair Mask is captured by Ordo Calamitas, being stored at the base of the organization in the basement of the city of Rome, more specifically below where today is located The Colosseum. After The God of Death's invasion in Ordo Calamitas' base[9] and Amphitruo's games, the Relic of Knowledge ended up being wielded by Celestine, that became the Sect's Magistrate after a deal to stop Kian.[10]
In 2021, with the alliance between the Sect of the Masks and Ordo Realitas, the Masks are killed during the battle against The Host and the last Magistrate was killed containing Kian in the Colosseum's arena.[11] Currently, the Despair Mask is without a wielder, being stored somewhere well protected in the Ordo Realitas Base.
Abilities[]
- Shadow Dimension: The Despair Mask, in addition to granting the Magistrate and the Masks a certain connection with the shadows, makes its wielder capable of distorting the reality around him and transporting himself to its pocket dimension in the shadows that is an inexplicable infinite void only occupied by whispers, may choose to take other people with it.[12]
- Omnipresence: The Knowledge of the Despair Mask enables the Magistrate and the Masks to make use of a "Shadow Teleport" as a way of transportation and then transport to any desired place in Reality as long as there is shadow or darkness.[13] Only the presence of the Masks in the environment is enough to cause distortions in the surrounding shadows.
- Because of the Omnipresence granted by the Despair Mask, the Magistrate does not need to see or hear to retain the Knowledge and wisdom of all information and events of Reality at the same time, as well as all explanations and answers. Its access to information extends to the Knowledge of the past, being able to remember everything that has ever happened and existed. However, its only limitation is unpredictable and undefined events by the Energy Chaos, taking as the only example the events of Semper Clausa,[14] because the memories of the place had been affected by The Host.[15]
- Sharing Knowledge: The Magistrate is able to share the Knowledge of the Despair Mask with some individual, being like a vision of past events[16] or even information from a specific object the target had never seen before.[17]
- True Conjuration: The absolute Knowledge of the Other Side granted by the Despair Mask makes the Magistrate able to use any ritual of Knowledge it wants, such as the Unexist Ritual to erase any being or object from Reality.[18]
- Masks Abilities: Since the Relic of Knowledge itself is responsible for creating the masks used by members of the Sect, it's safe to say that the Magistrate can use all of the abilities shown and mentioned of them so far, namely:
- Despair Gaze: When staring at the target, the user makes them momentarily paralyzed. If the target manages to resist, they stay faded.[19]
- Shadow Portal: When using this ability, the user summons a portal through the shadows that is capable of consuming a chosen object and teleports it to their hand.[20]

Wielders[]
Celestine[]
Celestine was a young woman, with light blond hair and short thrown aside, using an armor with the Ordo Calamitas' symbol marked in the clothing, being one of the warriors of Ordo Calamitas at A.D. 67. After winning Amphitruo's games, she meets him in the throne room at the base, however both are interrupted by Veritus who reveals himself as Kian.[21] Seeing that it had no chance, Amphitruo offers the Despair Mask to Celestine, proposing a deal to make Kian play by the rules.[15] She takes the Mask and puts it on, giving control of her body to the Entity of Knowledge, becoming The Magistrate.[10] It is not known at what point Celestine ceased to be the Magistrate.
The Last Magistrate[]
The Last Magistrate known so far, it is unknown how or when she wielded the Relic, nor is there any information about her past. She was a black woman, with braided hair, long white and black clothes, also wearing a rope with a noose around her neck and another around her waist. She was the first Magistrate and Relic wielder presented in the universe, with her appearance taking place at the end of the 8th episode of Deconjuration, after invading the Ordo Realitas Base seeking Nathaniel, a member of the Sect of the Masks that had been arrested by Joui Jouki.[22] This Magistrate died in the 11th episode of Calamity, containing Kian so Team Vultures could face Team Kian.[11]
Relic of Energy[]
Appearance[]
While the Relic of Energy does not meet a wielder or object, it assumes a non-solid ethereal form, such as a ray or an infinite flame, keeping in constant movement and transformation. In its first appearance it was contained in a metal cube within the base of the Ordo Calamitas, emanating an almost white purple energy so blinding and strong that it was its brightness.[23] Around it there was a distorted aura as if Reality struggled to contain this physical presence that was unfolding in waves, trying to stay in constant transformation, with such a reaction of the Relic getting even stronger when in the presence of Markeds. Currently the Relic possessed Joui Jouki's old katana, contained in a scabbard protected by Sigils put by The Magistrate, that when translated, it means "Anfitrião" (Host).[24]
History[]
The Relic of Energy wielder is The Host.[6] Just like the other Relics of Calamity, it is not known its origin or its first wielder, just that it is on reality "from the beginning",[7] and comes thousands of years choosing its heralds at extremely opportune times of their lives, even if they are not looking for it. When it finds a wielder, the Relic of Energy merges with some object close to it, later taking control of this individual and causing each atom forming the molecular structure of its existence begins to vibrate and distort, which results in the mind of the wielder being invaded by a wave of personalities and taken over by chaotic and inconsequential thoughts. The Host only worries about having fun with Chaos, distorting the rules of Reality in its own games.
In a moment, at A.D. 67, the Ordo Calamitas warriors found the Relic of Energy worshipped by some kind of occultist group. In the process of capturing the Relic, the one itself ends up causing the Great Fire of Rome,[25] but the warriors have a relative success containing it in a metal cube and taking it to their base in the undergrounds of Rome. The next day, the Ordo Calamitas members reunites with emperor Nero to discuss the next steps of the Order, but the meeting is interrupted when the warriors notice a weird Black Ooze seeping through the walls of the base, and from it tentacles emerge killing people just by touching them.[9] Seeking for a refuge, the Ordo Calamitas members runs to the room where the Relic of Energy was being contained. Arriving there, the Ooze can't pass through the doors, as if it was kinda afraid by the presence of that object. Six members of Ordo Calamitas feel a call coming from the Relic, answering that call and forming a circle around it. The Relic, then, starts to transform and change while advancing towards everyone until it chooses Gaius as the wielder.[26] Thus, Gaius becomes Amphitruo, a completely psychotic and frenetic entity, guided by the pure wish of Chaos, obsessed with games and riddles. Its body is made by a volatile matter and difficult to be understood by the human mind. This Entity can easily repel the Element of Death.
During this historic period yet, after leaving Gaius, somehow, the Relic passed through other wielders, that after the subsequent construction of the Colosseum, continued to orchestrate their brutal and violent games in the arena for pure entertainment, changing the style of these to each wielder. Among them, the most notable until now were known as Aeneas, Liber, Silenus and Plautus. The circumstances under which each of the four found the Relic is unknown.
In 2009, after years investigating the origin of the paranormal, Arnaldo Fritz enters through Semper Clausa, a place protected by those who know. There, he meets The Magistrate, leader of the Sect of the Masks, that reveals to him a vision about Kian's returnal as a Marked. With the goal of protecting Reality, Arnaldo asks for the Mask a way to stop Kian and prevent the Calamity, being answered that only a Relic can destroy him. She also says that Arnaldo shouldn't search anymore for them, because one of them had already found him and it was waiting for the right moment. In this moment, he feels in his pocket his watch vibrating, and by picking it, he is blinded by a dazzling light coming out of the object, that were in constant transformation.[27] From this moment, the Relic remained in Arnaldo's watch, that used it in the next day, at St. Menefreda Orphanage trying to stop Kian, becoming the most recently Host.[28]
Currently, the Relic of Energy has no wielder, being contained in Joui Jouki's katana and kept by Ordo Realitas alongside the Despair Mask.
Abilities[]
- Teleport: In addition to the different versions of the Host, the Relic of Energy itself also demonstrates the ability to transport itself instantly. This ability can be used when looking for a wielder, appearing in something close to the new candidate and at an extremely opportune time.[27]
- Anachronic Perception: By the chaotic nature of the Relic of Energy, the Host is in constant conflict with the different manifestations and personalities of all others who once were and who will still be "Hosts". Because of this distorted chronological perception, the Host is fully aware of events that are yet to happen.[29]
- Reality Warping: The Relic of Energy possesses transforming properties, granting its wielder the ability to distort Reality itself according to his personal desires and desires. This ability is commonly used by the Host in their games, where their rules also become those of Reality.[30]
- Exclusive Abilities: The Relic of Energy, when in combat, can share its abilities with the different versions of the Host, where each has a unique power.

Amphitruo has a mask with a smile feature and small eyes. In addition, the mask has three hands that come out of the extremities and touch the face, merging to it, having something similar to fingers coming out of the upper part. Amphitruo has the physiognomy of Gaius, wearing the same clothing he wore before being consumed by the Relic, a armor with pointed shoulder pads that cover up to his neck, and light purple details on the sides of this protection. Above all, it has a cloth on your chest with the Ordo Calamitas' symbol wearing a large purple cape with hood, which runs from its shoulders to its feet, pouring out on the ground. Aeneas had curly, short, light-toned hair, wearing a classic white Roman tunic that wraps his entire body, and in his hands holds torches he uses as a weapon. When seen in combat, he shone in red, his tunic looking like flames.
Liber[]
Liber has a mask with a toothless smile and small eyes. In addition, the mask has purple parts in the central region of the face, encompassing eyes, nose and upper portion of the lips. Around the purple portion on the face, there are small points that contour it laterally and inferiorly. At the top of the mask there is a structure that resembled a purple crown that is fixed directly on it by zig-zag incisions. Liber had blond hair that was loose underneath the mask, falling on his shoulders. His robes are composed of an open white overcoat with long sleeves, a kind of mantle with a circular adornment and thorns that contour his neck and shoulders from behind. When seen in combat, it shone orange, with its overcoat looking like flames and energy.

Plautus had his hair fastened in a short ponytail and the shape of his body was well defined. He attacked using a spear in his right hand and a dagger in his left hand. When seen in combat, it glowed pink, with flames of the same color that circulated it.
Arnaldo Fritz[]
One of the most experienced Ordo Realitas agents, that after having an unexpected meeting with the Relic of Energy,[27] became its newly wielder, thus beginning to perform sadistic games in search of fun. The Host has several cables and power wires running throughout his body, wearing a gas mask with the Relic's symbol marked on it and using Arnaldo Fritz's old suit, having a flame-like aura that changes between several vibrant colors.[31]
Relic of Blood[]
Appearance[]
The Throne is described as a solid physical form that turns its surroundings into an environment of carnage, monstrosities and obsession.[3] So far, there's only an illustration of this relic.[32]
History[]
The Relic of Blood wielder is The Devil.[3] Just like the other Relics of Calamity, it is not known its origin and its first wielder, only that it's on Reality "from the beginning",[7] and that it can force itself in its next wielder if it recognizes the person "worthy" of being its "inheritor". It is not known how the transformation of the wielder in the Devil occurs, however, it is known that unlike other Relics, its wielder can talk and act for itself, besides the Devil. The wielder can offer or accept a "Pact" - a deal capable of generating a bond of obsessive dependence, resulting in a mutual exchange between the figures involved. To perform this deal, it needs a symbol known as the "Pact's Mark". It's known that in some moment of A.D. 67, Ordo Calamitas already had this Relic in their base, despite being unknown how and when it was captured.[33]
Currently the Relic is wielded by Henri, one of the remaining Escribes that survived the Final Day of the Deconjuration.[34]
Abilities[]
- Blood on the Surroundings: The Throne can turn the environment around it into blood and carnage.[3] This ability also extends to the Devil.[35]
- Lord of Blood: The Throne grants his worthy heir the ability to summon any monster of Blood on the Other Side that once existed, managing to control its physical manifestation if it wants to.[36][3]
- Pact: The Throne grants its Devil the ability to accept or offer a pact to whomever it wants and, if accepted, it fulfills his part, but this does not prevent it from distorting its result.[34] The Devil’s pact is a bond of obsessive dependence,[3] possessing the ability to possibly drive its victim insane, turning it into a servant obsessed with the entity: a Deranged.

Henri[]
Henri was one of the St. Menefreda Orphanage orphans, that ended up becoming a Blood-obsessed Escribe. He was one of the escribes that survived the Final Day of the Deconjuration where, after suffering several serious injuries such as losing his hand and left eye, used a Blood Link Ritual and threatened the Ordo Realitas agents to make it out alive from that situation. There's no information about how he found the Relic of Blood. Henri was seen switching the control of his body with the Devil, different from the known wielders until now.[34]
Relic of Death[]
Appearance[]
The Dimensions Parasite is manifested as a huge heart made of Black Ooze, spiralized and connected by several tentacles.[37] In this form, it infects its surroundings, consuming its Entropy and forming an Anachronic Village with several names, being them Holy Cradle, Sacred Start, Divine Principle or Eternal Beginning.[38] This relic possesses the ability to infect a body with high Paranormal Exposure, becoming an extremely powerful and dangerous entity, owner of Time itself, known only as The God of Death.[39]
History[]
The Relic of Death wielder is unknown,[5] but its physical manifestation is the God of Death. Just like the other Relics of Calamity, it's not known its origin and its first wielder, just that it is on Reality "from the beginning".[7] The Relic of Death manifests itself in cycles, moving through time, not space, and can be in several points at the same time, having the ability to immortalize its own existence with the transfer of receptacles.
The cities formed by the Relic are manifested from Spiral Symbols, that vary from one to the other, as if no city could accomplish them correctly. That's the only relic that Ordo Calamitas couldn't capture. However, a direct attack from the Relic of Death happened in the base at A.D. 67.[9] This entity was named "Time" by Amphitruo,[40] as soon as it dispersed.
The exact location of this Relic remains a mystery at the present time, however it's known that in The Secret in the Forest, The God of Death wasn't completely defeated, as seen that Dante, when he went to Carpazinha, felt an extremely, powerful and terrible aura.[41]
Abilities[]
- Creation of Anachronic Cities: While not wielded, it creates isolated anachronistic civilizations that arise from an environment infected by the Relic of Death after it has consumed the Potential Energy and the time of the alive beings on the surroundings.[5] The cities being called Holy Cradle.[42]
- Temporal Movement: The God of Death can move through time rather than space, thus being present in multiple places simultaneously.[5]
- Holy Cradle Abilities: With the Relic of Death itself being responsible for the formation of these cities, it is safe to say that it possesses or at least produces all its abilities, these being:
- Potential Energy: To continue existing, the Holy Cradle uses Wellsprings as sources of Potential Energy to strengthen the Dimensions Parasite.[43] With this extending and remaining as the perfect housing for common Lusidii while keeping them in the hypnosis.[44]
- Make Black Ooze: A Holy Cradle has the ability to generate an abundant amount of Black Ooze, the Element of Death's characteristic liquid. The ooze generated by those cities has different properties from a normal Death ooze, even attracting individuals to it,[45] in addition to having an almost alive behavior, moving when threatened by fire, acting as tentacles.
- Crystals: A Holy Cradle can generate four different types of Crystals that emits a kind of singular radiation, each having unique and different properties.[46]
- Spread Fog: Holy Cradle is able to summon paranormal creatures by weakening the veil around it, and can do so immediately after feeling threatened in some way, such as the use of fire on its perimeter.[47]
- Time Distortion: Holy Cradle's time passage is different due to its Time Distortion, more specifically 300x faster, which ends up making a day in the outside world equivalent to a year inside the city.[48]
- Lusidii Conection: After the "Ignari" becomes complete Lusidii by touching the Black Crystal in the Mines and being overcomed by the Spiral Hypnosis, they end up developing a direct connection with the city. If Holy Cradle is destroyed, all inhabitants who are connected with it will also die.[49]
