The Rasthropod is a paranormal creature belonging to a group of creatures named Aliens, being from the category Camouflaged.[1]
Its first appearance was in the 7th episode of Signals from the Other Side, after Guizo and Xande entered the Analysis Office in the 4th floor of the TV Varminho's Tower.[2] The Rasthropod was killed by The Five's teamwork.[3]
Appearance[]
O Rastropoda has a giant snail appearance about 9.8 feet long, with several smaller paws that move its slimy body and two long claws that exalt themselves in its structure.
Behaviour[]
The Rasthropod releases an extremely strong smell. The method of abduction of the Alien is to absorb the victim and undo it within itself. The creature has the ability to absorb any kind of smoke or toxic gas, turning it into a dangerous hallucinogenic and acidic gas.
An environment inhabited by a Rasthropod may be identified if those characteristics are identified:
- Effluvium, specific smell in the area (smell of burning or sulphur);
- Objects floating and changing places;
- Burnt and dried plants.
By being from the Camouflaged category, it has a constant invisibility. To be able to see a Rasthropod, it is necessary to observe it by any imaging device. However, it is not possible to archive the image of this Alien without the file being corrupted or destroyed. Another way to see the creature is to throw some kind of dust on it, making it more visible, since it does not camouflage anything but it. However, upon realizing that it is being filmed, the creature will move towards the source of annoyance to destroy it.
Abilities[]
- Invisibility: As the nature of a Camouflaged, the Rasthropod has a natural invisibility that can only be removed if it is captured by a camera or digital image capture.[4]
- Smoke Manipulation: This creature is able to absorb the smoke present in the environment turning into a dangerous hallucinogenic and acidic gas.[5] Isso se aplica mediante ao ácido expelido de seu corpo.[6]
