I know you tried your best. But I'm so sorry. It wasn't enough. It found you. All of you.
Quarantine - Final Part is the second and final episode of the two-shot of Paranormal Order: Quarantine. It aired on September 30, 2023.
Synopsis[]
The real horror starts now. The five young people joins Micael to investigate the isolated place they are. And while this, a fearful threat, worse than the Infecteds, lurks through the snow.
Summary[]

Micael once again explains the situation to the five young people, who remain confused and enraged at him having left them earlier. He says that they have been unconscious for almost more than 8 hours and that they are in an isolated place near Greenland. Micael says that he is the only hope of the young people, and asks them to follow him outside to reach a radio tower and contact the nearest station there. The group opens a large chest in the room and picks up several clothes, scarves and boots reinforced for the cold that awaits them outside. As they begin to leave the director’s office, already dressed, they see Emi in front of one of the frozen Infecteds, specifically her father, saying that she's going to find a cure to bring him back, being comforted by Lucie, that promises they will do it.

After the group treats some of their wounds, Micael guides them through the station, leading them to a newly opened door, with the sharp, icy breeze of blizzard passing between them. On the 30-minute walk to the radio tower they need to get to, the group discusses whether they will actually get out of there and what will happen if they die. As they walk, they see several pieces of wood shoved into the ground, in hangman shapes, with hanging bodies, some of them with missing body parts. When asked about it, Micael just ignores it and goes on to say that they need to get up there and that they don’t want to know what it is. The group begins to climb the stairs of the tower, realizing that with the strong wind, she begins to shake, almost falling. After a not so successful attempt of Jeffrey trying to quickly climb the stairs and hit his face on the steps, the group reaches to the top of the tower, finding several bookshelves, a kind of kitchen at the other end of the room and in the center, various technological devices such as transmitters and signal repeaters. Micael tries to use the devices, but discovers that they are all turned off. Jeffrey finds several lanterns in one corner of the room, giving one to each. Lucie finds another note of Pete talking about guarding the keys in the janitor’s room, in addition to the map of Igneus Station, and after questioning Micael about, he deflects the subject.
Until suddenly, they hear a scream of someone agonizing echoing outside. The group begins to discuss what to do, with Micael becoming increasingly angry with the group questioning him about what he really knows. The group tries to convince him to stay in the tower with Emi, while the five leave the tower to investigate what happened, with the condition that they can know what is really happening soon after, but they do not reach such a quick conclusion, just ending with Micael saying that he will stay there, giving them a radio so they can communicate. The five descend the tower and begin to walk through the snow again. But, halfway through, Benito decides to turn around, thinking about the child’s well-being, and the group follows him too. When asked by Micael why they are coming back, Benito says he needs to pick up a knife he forgot. However, Micael convinces him that it won’t make a difference if he picks it up, and then the group goes back to what they were doing: entering the rooms of the station. Luis opens one of the doors of the base, encountering a bloody corridor and a dead body leaning against the wall, which stands out with the symbol of the Panacea Industries. They begin to investigate the corridor, opening a door on the right side and coming across another bloody corridor with a dead body, leading to another door.

Upon opening this new door, they come across the so-called Energy Room, with three power generators next to it and two lovckers in the background. Jeffrey goes to the generators, until they hear something coughing in the background. As they try to walk quietly, Lucie ends up stumbling on one of the cables, attracting the attention of the person, who was locked in the locker. The person comes out of the locker, revealing himself as a bald man, with a yellow coat with the symbol of Panacea: it’s Pete, the janitor. However, before they can talk better, they hear a grunt outside, something reversed. Pete asks them to be silent, and Jeffrey tries to close the door, but it makes too much noise when it is closed. While they keep trying not to make noise, Pete gives a stuck note to one of his dead colleagues, Ramon, to the group, which is a list of instructions for operating the generator circuits. Benito and Luis try to investigate the room further, but stumble upon something on the floor, creating more tension for their survival.
Jeffrey begins to operate the generator panels, while Diego helps him with the unknown symbols. The two do a great job, until they miss one of the wires and Jeffrey gets a shock. Lucie asks him to back off so he doesn’t get hurt again and connects the last two wires. Pete asks them to look for a button to activate, and as soon as they activate, the generator starts to make noise, starting to turn on, until something makes a big bang on top of where they are. Pete runs to a locker to hide, sending the others to take shelter as well. Everyone begins to hide, while the thing from above begins to get closer and closer. Pete opens one of the doors of the room, asking them not to look. However, Luis stares at the door, seeing a big silhouette coming across the room, with penetrating red eyes. They feel the smell of the creature, feeling the fear it brings. However, the room lights up for half a second as Pete shoots the creature. Thinking that he has finally managed to catch the creature, he realizes that nothing does with it, and the creature grabs him, dragging him out, while the janitor screams for his life. After it leaves the room, the group leaves their hiding places, being contacted by Micael, who asks for explanations of the gunshots. They talk some more and then the group leaves the room, with Benito carrying a shotgun.

They begin to investigate the rest of the base, entering a destroyed and messy dorm room. Amid the investigation, they hear a voice in the wreckage, and Lucie tries to get them out of the way, but without success, being helped by Benito and Luis. When they remove the wreckage, they see a woman, wearing clothes from Panacea Industries, who introduces herself to them as Carol. She explains that she is an employee of the industry and that she is there because it is her first mission. The group quickly begins searching the dorms along with her, finding a key that Benito hides with him, a crowbar to be used as a weapon and various energy drinks. As they investigate, Carol realizes that they are wearing the gloves that should be worn by the directors. Suddenly, Micael turns on the communicator again, and she recognizes the colleague’s voice. Emi talks to them through the communicator, while Micael hears about Carol, wondering how she, a rank D employee is still alive and hanging up soon after. Carol explains that the higher ranked scientists were bringing the lower ranked ones to hang them on the wooden poles to attract the creature.
As they continue talking, Diego once again feels the terror invading the environment where they are, and asks them to be quieter. The group continues planning what they will do at the station, while the creature continues around, grunting and drawing their attention. Carol knows that to get where they need, the warehouse, they need to take an elevator outside. They follow the path they came on, trying to remain silent as the creature continues walking through the roof of the base, later dividing into two groups: Luis, Jeffrey and Diego continue walking through the snow until they reach a circular structure with a door in the center. Luis opens the door, coming across a panel of electricity with a button in the middle, pressing it. Staying at the entrance of that base, Carol, Benito and Lucie continue listening to the footsteps of the creature on top of them. They walk through the corridors, looking for somewhere new, coming across a closed metal door, with a card reader. Without having much to do, they return to the energy room, until they realize that the creature’s sense of terror has disappeared.
Returning to the elevator group, after they press the button, they begin to descend the elevator, when Micael calls them on the radio, saying that he had bad news: Emi had disappeared and his card too. And at the same time, in the energy room, Lucie, Benito and Carol hear the child’s voice echoing through the corridors. Lucie finds her and asks her to be quiet, while the creature suddenly returns. Everyone goes back to hiding as it enters the room. The grunts begin to get closer. For a moment, they begin to cease. Until suddenly, there is no turning back. Everyone tried their best. But it was not enough.
It found them. All of them.
Seeing the creature running enraged around the room, advancing in everything, the four come out of their hiding places. Lucie sends Emi forward, while everyone continues to run from the creature. However, Benito and Carol run more than the two. Only Lucie and Emi stand against the creature. Without thinking twice, Lucie pushes Emi out. Without understanding, the child sees the creature tear the woman’s face apart and drag her. The creature continues to torture Lucie, playing with her body. Feeling the pleasure of devouring every part of her body. The creature finishes satiating and releases the body of Lucie, who lies there, slowly dying, with her thinking about how she wanted only to be free, that she was useless and that it is not fair to have been her. It leaves the enclosure, looking for more meat to devour. Meanwhile, the remaining three flee and are saved. Benito starts laughing desperately, realizing that Lucie sacrificed herself for only one useless child, being scolded by Emi and Carol. The three return to the energy room, with Emi getting angry with the two after discovering that Carol tried to throw a box on top of her to leave her behind.
On the other side, the elevator group arrives at the warehouse, where they find several boxes, a kind of furnace and a button that turns it on. They manage to make the deposit stay with the cold environment and turn on the energy, also finding an access card of a woman named Alice, until they notice a horde of frozen infecteds starting to move. The three continue running, while the infected begin to merge, but with ease they manage to reach the elevator and climb again. They get signal again and Micael turns on the radio, saying that the power finally arrived, but he didn't know the password, but knew where to find it, saying it was in the meeting room. Except to access this room, he would need his mother’s access card, the director of the place.
The energy room group notices the generators turning on and shooting sounds from the outside. The elevator group joins them as the creature’s sense of terror returns, with sounds on top of the roof. After a moment of mourning for Lucie’s death, the group heads to the metal door, using the access card and opening it. They come across a meeting room with various things scattered on the table, a protected red button, several bookshelves and a television connected with various images. Carol begins to check the shelves, finding a large sheet of evidence on the creature they found, called Nidere. Checking on the information, Jeffrey feels a strange sensation after putting on a ring he found: he feels connected to this creature. The more they investigate, they find more information. A drop of blood falls. He can’t get the ring out, and the creature comes back.
Carol explains that the scientists are people who fight the paranormal, terrible creatures. And on the television, they see various images of creatures said to be eliminated by the industry, being used to combat the real danger, until it remains only I-413, who stays active. They find more papers with mentions from Alice Cruzes, from doctors like Richard Hegg and Cook Rocher, as well as a list of characteristics of the ranks of scientists. They hear Nidere’s grunts above them again. Jeffrey uses a perfume he found in Carol, causing the creature to smell and begin to frantically hit the ground. With so much beating, its claw goes through the roof, starting to open the top, making everyone despair and run away. Between leaps and bounds, everyone manages to escape, except Carol and Benito, the latter helping Emi to leave after the first tried to delay her. The two run as fast as they can, until the creature rips Carol from behind, hits her on the wall and begins to drag her, with her unconscious. The creature begins to tear off all the pieces of Carol, satiating its will.
Benito reaches the surface, relieved to have survived and protected Emi. Together again, the five arrive at the radio tower, going straight to the point with Micael, confused without knowing anything. Upon realizing Micael’s blooper about saying he knew the password, Benito asks Luis to point the shotgun at him and asks for the radio for him. However, Benito checks the radio equipment, realizing that Micael didn't really know the password, he had only contacted the nearest station and was only waiting for the password to be able to trigger them. Benito sets up a plan for Micael to do what he asks to get them out and asks him to tell him everything that happened. Micael tells that everything is his fault, and that Panacea is an organization that kills these creatures by setting other creatures against, but that Nidere is such a perfect creature that it doesn't deserve to die, that he was trying to save it. The group discusses Panacea’s plan to release the Infecticide virus on Nidere, with Micael being against it. However, as they talk, the creature begins to climb the radio tower. Jeffrey and Diego manage to climb the top of the tower, and turn on the radio station. They hear the sound of someone on the radio asking for the code. Jeffrey manages to get the collision protocol started, and a spiral of flames emerges around the base. The group notices a movement near the warehouse elevator, and from there, the virus emerges, facing Nidere. The creatures begin to fight, while a helicopter begins to emerge in the immensity of the fog of the blizzard. The group starts running, Benito holding Emi by the hand, Jeffrey stumbling in the middle of the ladder, a lot of infected being thrown away by Nidere. Jeffrey throws one of the test tubes with a fetus on top of Nidere, delaying it, as everyone begins to climb into the helicopter. In an act without reaction, Jeffrey simply throws his phone into Micael and he sees the Infecticide being attracted to the dispositive, consuming Micael. Nidere advances up the group, devouring Micael’s head in the middle of the way, but unable to reach the group, that arrives at the heliport, being helped by the helicopter team to climb. The five are saved and begin to take flight, seeing the insanity that that base has turned. It's finally over. All the trauma they went through is over. While they process everything, they don’t even notice the men who saved them, wearing gas masks and talking about the collision process.
A lot of time passes. It's not known how many hours have passed. As soon as the helicopter lands, they see something in front of them. A structure.
But that’s something for another story. Another day.
