Nice to meet ya, I'm Pedrinho! Pedrinho Nemiera! And I'm the owner of the island!
Pedro Nemiera[1]
Pedro "Pedrinho" Nemiera Souza is a resident from Tipora Island. He first appeared in the 1st episode of The Secret in the Island, with his brother Vitinho when Milo and Olivier went to confront them after they kidnapped Bisteca.[2]
Appearance[]
Pedrinho is a young black 18 years old, has green eyes and short brown hair, with a slim physique. He is usually seen wearing a white tank top, blue jeans with a red cloth and a suspender attached to it, plus a gray beret and a pair of slippers.
Personality[]
Pedrinho appears to be very agitated and restless, he most of the time is causing problems for the youngest of the island, such as Amora and Ian, besides loving to bother the kitten Bisteca with his brother Vitinho. Pedrinho can be described by many as a "troublemaker", being said several times that he is too immature for his age.

Past[]
Pedro Nemiera Souza was born approximately 18 years ago in Tipora, being the second son of Jefferson Nemiera and Valéria Nemiera, younger brother of Otávio Nemiera and older brother of Vitor Nemiera. During his childhood he was very close to Miguel Castello, at that time both were friends and always walked around the island playing together. Until one day, Miguel introduced his imaginary friend to the island, Milo Castello, imitating his supposed voice and acting as if it were his own.
It is unknown how Pedrinho acted when he received this information at the time, but after completing 10 years, Miguel mysteriously "disappeared", with Milo taking his place and acting 100% of the time with control over the body, after that at the request of Bartô Castello everyone on the island began to treat Miguel as Milo including Pedrinho himself, who began to feel angry at the boy for supposedly "taking" his friend from him.
It is also known that Pedrinho has been arrested in the cell of the police station for trying to throw Bisteca in the well, being the only person to be locked in the place before the events of The Secret in the Island.
The Secret in the Island[]
Day 1[]
Pedrinho and his brother Vitinho once again decide to disturb Ian and take Bisteca from his hands, running with the cat to the middle of the forest and mistreating the animal, "playing" with it while throwing it from one side to the other. They’re laughing as they do this until they’re approached by Milo and Olivier.
Pedrinho tries to provoke them and complains about them being there, including mentioning Milo’s "brother" in the discussion, which angers the boy who goes on top of Pedrinho, after receiving a punch given by Milo, Pedrinho throws Bisteca up a tree and runs from the place, cursing the two who disturbed him.
Day 2[]
Pedrinho and Vitinho decide to provoke Bisteca once again, and then try to get the animal’s attention with a snack, but at the same time Bárbara and Amelie interrupt and start a discussion, while Pedrinho and Amelie fight, Vitinho secretly hands Bisteca to Bárbara, and after receiving a big scolding from Bárbara, Pedrinho runs from the place, cursing both.
Later, at the Church Barbecue, Pedrinho spots Milo and Olivier, but this time he decides not to bother them, as he is still very shaken by the scolding that Barbara gave him.
Day 3[]
Pedrinho is only seen near the crowd that went to the beach to check what was supposed to be the dead bopdy found at the scene, after witnessing the scene of the man lying on the ground with a hole in his face, Pedrinho in shock just leaves the scene with his brother.
Day 4[]
Pedrinho participates in the rally of the church with the other residents of Tipora. He runs out of the place next to his brother after seeing Bartô punching Evandro.
Day 5[]
Pedrinho is not seen walking through the village during the day, staying inside his house after the attack of the infected animals, until the discovery of the body of Bartô in the station.
Day 6[]
Pedrinho took shelter inside the church next to his family and the rest of the residents of Tipora, on the advice of Barnabé so that everyone would protect themselves from the creature that was supposed to kill everyone. Later, Amelie, Bárbara, Milo, Miguel, Olivier and Wanderley arrive outside, and begin to argue with Barnabé, trying to convince the people to open the doors of the church to them.
In the middle of the discussion, Miguel calls Pedrinho and tells him that he had returned, trying to call his old friend to help him, Pedrinho is surprised and happy to hear this, deciding to open the door to see his friend once again. However, when the door is opened, Barnabé reveals a picture of a hooded and faceless figure, and seeing that all are frightened and frozen, having all this fear concentrated, the Imaginary Friend emerges.
Pedrinho runs out of the church after being helped by the group and ends up being saved by them, who stay behind and face the creature. After the screams and gunshots within the church cease, only Amelie and Olivier are seen leaving, it is not known exactly how Pedrinho reacted after that, but it is likely that he was extremely shaken because his older brother had been killed by the creature.
Day 7[]
At dawn Pedrinho leaves for the beach next to his family, and there he sees Arthur Cervero and Walter arriving, he climbs to Adrian's boat and with the other inhabitants of the island, leaves Tipora.
Relationships[]
- Amora and Ian: Pedrinho doesn't have a good relationship with the children of the village, since he loves to mistreat Bisteca, his pet and friend, but Pedrinho doesn’t seem to care how the two see him.
- Miguel Castello: Miguel and Pedrinho were close friends years ago, even before Milo appeared, the two constantly went out and played together around the island. After Miguel’s "death", Pedrinho became extremely sad, starting to hate Milo and wishing every day that his friend would stop with the "little theater".
- Milo Castello: Pedrinho hates Milo for thinking he took his best friend, during all the meetings of the two reacted with anger and violence to each other, Pedrinho even said that "it was better that Milo died after what happened to him".
- Otávio Nemiera: Not much is known of the relationship of the two brothers, only that Otávio is ashamed of his brother’s actions, and whenever he can apologize to the residents for him.
- Vitor Nemiera: Pedrinho and Vitinho are an almost inseparable pair, with the two walking everyday together on the island, are hardly seen apart and this is due to the reason that Vitinho is too inspired and always tries to copy his brother. Pedrinho, on the other hand, always tries to take his brother to his antics on the island, seeing him as a partner to help him with his various ideas and plans.
Trivia[]
- Initially the plan for Pedrinho and his brother was for both to appear constantly bothering and hindering the protagonists, even having a theme song for these encounters. But according to Cellbit, after the events of "Dread", he couldn't find a good time to put the two brothers as comic relief in the sessions, due to the more serious mood that continued the episode.
