Paranormal Order RPG: Surviving the Horror

Paulo Machado is a veteran Ordo Realitas agent and Mr. Verity's friend. Paulo is one of the oldest agents who, even weakened, did a lot for the Order, with his incredible and creative strategic capacity that, throughout the history of the Order, was very important to save and help several agents.^[5]

Paulo appears in the add-on Surviving the Horror as the representative of the Librarian trail of the Specialist class.^[6]

Appearance[]

Paulo is a man with dark hair and eyes with small glasses. He wears a brown dress suit with a motorized wheelchair, having a gas cylinder wedged between his legs that connects to a cord around his neck.^[5]

In Surviving the Horror, Paulo uses the same clothes from Deconjuration, but his hair and beard are already in a grey tone.

Personality[]

Paulo is known for being very smart and always keeping a sweet smile on his face.^[5]

Deconjuration[]

After being called by Mr. Verity, Paulo appears for the first time descending on a support of the stairs to the base of Ordo Realitas, talking quickly with Arthur Cervero, Beatrice Portinari, Dante, Kaiser and Joui Jouki, before they go to St. Menefreda Orphanage.^[5]

During the 15th episode of Deconjuration, Paulo is seen in Mr. Verity's room with veteran Agent Chizue Akechi talking about Mr. Verity's whereabouts, interrupted by Arthur Cervero who gives a brief report of the mission at Devilish Mansion, both Paulo and Chizue are extremely shaken by the news of the death of agent Beatrice Portinari and, mainly, with the death of Tristan Monteiro.^[7] A while later, when Arthur calls them to participate in Tristan's tribute, the two veterans are seen again, this time extremely concentrated. Chizue tried to decline the invitation, but Paulo convinced her, saying that it could be important. They participated in the tribute and Paulo gave words of motivation to the agents present.^[8]

Trivia[]

Paulo is a tribute to a homonymous friend of Cellbit who died.
