Trust in Panacea Industries.
GM[1]
Panacea Industries is a scientific corporation that combats the paranormal using alternative methods. Under the facade of a pharmaceutical company, its known headquarters are located in Ciudad de México and in Rio de Janeiro, in Copacabana.
Initially, not much was known about it, just that they were developing a new product and asking for help from people on the streets with flyers, both in Brazil and Mexico, offering money to anyone who volunteered and called the phone numbers provided.[2] However, this recruitment was actually a way to attract people for secret scientific tests involving the paranormal.
After the "Part 1" events, it was learned that, in reality, Panacea Industries was developing a virus, I-413, and through Project Glacius, they planned to release it on a large scale to combat the Main Product, requiring subjects to test the proliferation and development of the virus under controlled conditions.
Characteristics[]
Panacea Industries is a scientific organization that uses its pharmaceutical facade to conceal its true operations, which involve paranormal experiments. Its employees wear appropriate attire for their scientific processes, but it was later discovered that the group was secretly working on projects involving a paranormal virus to counter a millennial manifestation of a Nidere. The abduction of civilians for these tests was common practice, under the guise of paid research.
Ideals[]
Panacea Industries does not view the paranormal in the same way that occultists do. Panacea believes that they cannot comprehend, or even directly overcome the power of the Entities but they can study them and use the Entities against each other. They do not use Rituals or firearms, considering these easily corruptible methods. Instead, they use the Entities themselves, because they are of the Element that they are.[3]
History[]
Panacea Industries scientific corporation disguised as a pharmaceutical company, ranked as the 27th most popular pharmaceutical company in the world, with headquarters in both Mexico City and Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro.
At one point, it indicated that it was working on developing a new product and seeking street assistance through flyers. In Brazil and Mexico, they offered payments to anyone who volunteered and got in touch via the phone numbers provided, for those looking to get money easily.
It was later discovered that Panacea was developing the I-413 virus as a weapon to combat a dangerous creature that occupied a deserted part of Greenland. Additionally, there is information about two different products, one from Glacius Station and the other from Igneus Station.
It is known of 4 buildings belonging to this company: the offices in Rio de Janeiro, the offices in Ciudad de México, Glacius Station and Igneus Station, both in Greenland. Glacius had the purpose of developing I-413 to combat the Nidere, while Igneus served as a command base; both stations and their employees would be sacrificed by Panacea to put the creatures' collision plan into practice.
According to Carol, an employee of Igneus Station, Panacea is an organization totally focused on fighting the paranormal. However, due to the low effectiveness of traditional combat, caused by the strength and powers of the creatures, the best option would be to use the Elements and paranormal creatures against each other, being a company with a consequentialist philosophy, where what matters is to save as many people as possible even if it involves the murder, kidnapping and sacrifice of innocents.

Plan[]
Original Plan[]
Panacea Industries, aiming to capture a Nidere (named as "Main Product"), planned several projects involving different paranormal creatures to weaken and capture him. However, only the "I-413", or "Infecticide", was approved, while building the Igneus station as a command base, staff housing and research center of the Nidere, and Glacius station, which contained the medical bay, experiment laboratory and the research center of I-413. The staff were separated into a hierarchy: the directors were of Rank A, the main scientists of Rank B and the rest of the researchers were Rank C, while the trainees/newbies were Rank D. The plan was to collide both creatures to weaken and capture the target.
Rank D employees would be used as bait to lure Nidere to the location of the stations, being hung on poles and left to die. Rank B would receive and wear the gloves with the antidote to infecticidium and transport the guinea pigs to Glacius Station. While the Infecticide is developed and applied to subjects, Rank C would be kept alive inside Igneus Station to keep Nidere hunting and close to the area. When the creature is nearby and hunting, Rank A would take shelter in the safe rooms assigned to them while Rank B would activate the collision protocol by the radio station once the Glacius directors confirm the completion of the virus development. Once the collision reaches completion status, Rank B would warn Rank A, who would contact the rescue team to be rescued.
Sabotage[]
As Micael Cruzes disagreed with the creature’s extermination project, he sabotaged the gloves that the Rank B scientists were supposed to wear, causing them to be contaminated in the process of developing the virus. Somehow he got possession of his mother’s card, Alice Cruzes, one of the directors, and sabotaged the security areas, leaving Rank A at Nidere’s mercy. With most of the leaders dead, contaminated or hidden, he enters Glacius Station and delivers some intact gloves to the subjects, hoping to manipulate them to help fulfill his plan and escape. By locking himself in the director’s office, he prevents them from accessing control of the door, forcing them to turn off power to the entire station to freeze the virus before releasing them.
Outside Glacius station, they head to the radio station to call for reinforcements, but both stations and the radio tower are out of power, and they need to restart the generators. Micael convinces the group to leave him in the security of the tower while they manage to reconnect the power and discover the code necessary to activate the rescue and then meet again. However, fleeing his plans, the group had found a living employee who explained the situation, and understanding the motivation of Micael, they decide to activate the collision protocol, effecting the original plan of Panacea.
