The Mutilated Zombie is a paranormal creature of Blood with complement of Energy,[1] being an unique variation of the Blood Zombie. Its high exposure, affinity to Energy and the extremely thin veil of the place made it not just an ordinary Blood Zombie. This one was originated from the body of Rana, that after being killed by Joui Jouki at the Leone's Mansion, and being left exposed in a place with damaged veil, went through a transformation becoming a creature[2]
Its first appearance was in the 3rd episode of Calamity, attacking Team Vultures just before being disintegrated by an Eco Dolor from Dante.[3]
Appearance[]
This creature has a reddish skin, with the same appearance and appearance as the other Blood Zombies, but with the face being totally distorted: having a thin appearance and protruding tips, thus making the face have a much more animalistic appearance. In its hands, its nails are sharp and act like claws.
It's possible to see a Kanji symbol (血, "Chi"; that means Blood) marked on the top of its head. From its torso, the limbs separate from its body, as Rana had her legs and arms severed at her death. These members are then only connected by a large purple and thin tongue of the creature, which keeps it all standing. From the cuts of the limbs are visible pointed bones that point upwards, as well as the bones of its spine; which are also exposed.
Behaviour[]
The monster, like other Blood creatures, shows no intelligence, acting purely by instincts. This creature moves in a bestial posture leaning on its four limbs, being able to climb the walls to attack victims by surprise, throwing himself on top and grabbing them, while attacking it using its claws and huge mouth. If its attached target can detach, the creature can teleport short distances to attack another unsuspecting victim.
Abilities[]
- Adherence: The creature uses its claws to attach and adhere to the ceiling and walls, so it can surprise its victims.[2]
- Grab: After surprising the target, the creature then tries to grab it and then knock it down and immobilize it.
- Teleport (short range): The creature uses a small Energy teleport to escape and appear behind its prey.[4]
