Mortal Load is the second mission of Paranormal Order RPG and the first original mission published in Dragão Brasil, later distributed in Paranormal Cases as a reward to pre-order buyers. sale of the Paranormal Order RPG Playbook, serving as the second pre-ready mission of the cases.
It was released as Against the Other Side[fn 3] in Dragão Brasil magazine in a two-part mission, with the first part coming out in the 182nd edition on August 31, 2022[1][2] and the second in the 183rd edition on September 28, 2022,[3] being then adapted and sent in Paranormal Cases during the delivery of the books on October 28, 2022 and released digitally on November 1, 2022, along with the other missions.
Originally it was a 5% EXP mission, serving to introduce the updated Playbook system, and was later adapted in Paranormal Cases to a 10% EXP mission, and could serve as a sequel to The Hands Who Welcome Us or an isolated mission. The entire story and characters of this mission are not canonical within the Paranormal Order universe.

Paranormal trafficking is a reality. A dangerous cursed object catches the attention of the Order's intelligence, which hurriedly sends a newly formed group of agents to invade a private warehouse in the Port of Santos with the aim of preventing this item from being transported to São Paulo the next day, in addition to seek the identity of their mysterious buyers.

- Mortal Load was based on the mission played by Della, Cellbit, Calango and Zero during one of the episodes of the podcast Balela.[4][5]
- Mortal Load was said to be an exclusive case for the magazine when published,[6] causing confusion among fans after the Paranormal Cases were sent out.
- This mission is the only one in the Paranormal Cases that features an artless creature.
