Mike is a poor guy, that does the best he can as a pizza guy to help his family from the countryside.

This end of the year, he traveled to the big city in search of new opportunities.

Mike was one of the protagonists of the series Paranormal Order, present in Gruesome Christmas.^[1]

Mike was a simple pizza guy who lives in the country. His life is turned upside down when he decides to take a night bus to a big city, but ends up making an unpleasant stop in the Goodwill Moon's Camp.

In a chase at the Eclipse Cabin, Mike, weakened by being wounded, is reached by Jae, that causes Mike to take a crawl and be thrown into the air, having his belly torn in the middle when he falls to the ground.

Appearance[]

Mike was a white man, dark brown eyes and messy two-colored hair: the left half being light brown and the right half black. He wore a black hoodie with orange details and a fire print above an inscription that says "Skate", matching his red and white Café's Pizzaria cap. In addition, he wore a brown cargo pants and simple sneakers, which were black and white.

Personality[]

Mike was an outgoing, friendly, kind and naturally funny young man who made countless jokes and often used humor as a tool to deal with his discomfort or fear. He was someone who cared and cared very much about the welfare of his family, being willing to risk a lot to provide them with a minimally comfortable life. Mike was ashamed to assume he was poor and because of that, often lied about his financial situation. He was also a little afraid, especially in unfamiliar, intimidating or dangerous situations. Deep down, Mike was extremely empathetic, as in his final moments all he thought about was hoping that everyone who accompanied him would be okay.

Mike, a humble boy from the countryside, always did what he could to help his family, who did not have the best of financial conditions. Working as a pizza guy, he dreamed of providing a better life for those he loved.

With the arrival of the end of the year, then, Mike decided to leave his small town and travel to the big city, looking for new opportunities that could change his situation and that of his family. However, his journey took an unexpected turn, leading him to the enigmatic Goodwill Moon's Camp. As a delivery man, it wasn’t the first time he'd ended up at the wrong address. But it could be the last.

Gruesome Christmas[]

At December 21, 2022, Mike takes a bus to São Paulo in search of new job opportunities. However, he and five other people on the bus find themselves mired in the road in front of the Goodwill Moon's Camp, in Inquisidor do Vale, Paraná. With the sudden disappearance of the bus driver, Mike and the other passengers decide to go to the camp for help. Breno becomes nervous when he notices a sign that says that there were many disappearances on the site, but he follows the group.

After Mike and Lucio come across raged dogs, he and the rest of the passengers run to the big house in the camp and lock themselves inside. Melissa tries to call the police, being attended and hearing that the emergency service would send a car to the site to make the rescue of passengers. The group explores the house and everyone realizes that it was well preserved and tidy for Christmas festivities. They find gifts and a Christmas tree mounted next to a fireplace with a large portrait of a young woman with a glazed and macabre look, wearing a blood-stained dress. It doesn’t take long and officer Aguiar arrives to help the group. The police officer tells them to stay safe inside the house while he makes a round of the surroundings. Some time later, a bang is heard by everyone and the light of the house is then turned off.

Mike and the others become afraid and reach for the control panel of the house to check if it is possible to turn on the lights again. However, when they open the back door looking for that panel, they see a hooded figure with a big red "X" floating in front of their face. They know that they need to find a key to unlock the doors that have now all been locked. The figure was lurking, hidden, waiting to be found before the key.

The group begins a desperate search for the keys in the house, nobody finds anything until Breno and the others hear a scream from Ayla. The young woman found the killer, who jumped out of a closet and stabbed her with everything. Breno, who was close, helps Ayla to get up and run, getting face to face with the figure, which hits a knife in his back. Everyone runs away and Breno begins to stay behind. Mike finds a set of keys on the second floor and begins testing at the front door of the house, without success. Breno, who remembers the advice and words of his grandmother, runs with all his strength and reaches the group and, together with him, the killer also reaches them. They all run to the kitchen and after a few attempts, they open the door. Breno manages to escape, however, Ayla, who was already injured, doesn't have the same luck. The hooded person opens Ayla’s abdomen and kills her brutally and sadistically.

They then leave the house, meeting in front of the place, but with mixed feelings: the sadness of Melissa and the heated discussion of the boys after seeing the horrible scene. Without second-thoughts, the five survivors follow in a dark direction from the camp, finding another cabin. They see, behind it, a kind of generator, with a manual how to turn on. In the indecision of what to do with the device, they hear once again the request for silence, as if the figure was lurking them in the shadows. The group then divides: Lucio and Mike are in the generator, while Breno, Melissa and Jorge go in the other direction, finding a kind of mini-camp and in it the valve for the generator.

The group meets again, and with the help of the valve found in the mini-camp, they turn on the generator of the cabin. Going up the stairs, they try to break down its door, but eventually, they think about using some of the keys from before, managing to open it. As they enter, the figure once again lurks in the shadows, striking Lucio from behind. Once again, they ask for silence, as if they are mocking the group. They are just a joke to them. The group enters the cabin, finding an anti-inflammatory, and Melissa goes straight to the phone calling the emergency service to send more cars. However, unhappy that only officer Aguiar is available, she curses the person on the other side and hangs up in the face. The group waits for a while inside the cabin, until they hear the police siren. Through the window, they see the car parked next to them. Breno and Jorge leave the cabin and walk towards the car. And meanwhile, the sound of silence... but not outside.

The killer comes out of one of the cabinets, surprising Mike, Lucio and Melissa. As Mike was lying in bed, he started the escape at a severe disadvantage. While the other two runned out of the cabin, the figure reaches him, throwing Mike up and positioning their knife in a way that it opens Mike's belly fully as he falls. In his last moments, he hopes that the other survivors will escape.

Relationships[]

Lucio Olani: Mike and Lucio, despite having met a few hours ago, already showed a certain degree of friendship, making jokes and relaxed comments even during a dangerous situation. Mike tried to help Lucio several times during his survival attempt against the killer, as when he decided not to escape safely to help Lucio escape too, and when seeing that he was sad about the disappearance of his dog, he started to tell jokes to cheer him up.

Trivia[]

Mike is also Brino's dog name.
Originally, Mike's surname would be Baguncinha, to contrast with a famous brazilian meme on the internet. However, this idea was not taken forward.^[3]
