Paranormal Order RPG: Surviving the Horror
Mia, along with her dog, Lupi are the protagonists of Enigma of Fear and secondary characters of Deconjuration and Calamity. Mia is a paranormal investigator and the daughter of Mr. Verity, the current leader of Ordo Realitas.
Mia appeared on the 1st episode of Deconjuration, speaking with her father before the arrival of the agents in charge of the Elizabeth Webber disappearance case.[3]
Mia appears in the supplement Surviving the Horror as the example character of the Perseverant trail, from the Specialist class.
During the events of Enigma of Fear, she is looking for her father, that mysteriously disappeared. Mia takes Lupi with her as company, a very cheerful, fearful and charismatic dog, who is willing to face his fears to protect Mia at all costs.[4]
Appearance[]
Mia is a small 5'5" tall woman[1] with tied up red hair, wearing a white T-shirt under a dark gray coat with yellow details, black jeans and small white shoes.[3] In the promotional art for Enigma of Fear, she is seen carrying a bloody crowbar.[4]
Personality[]
Mia, due to her few appearances, had little of her personality explored or shown, but it can be assumed that she is a friendly and brave woman, who always tries to help the other agents of the Order, as seen in Deconjuration.
Biography[]
Background[]
Mia was born around 2000, on an unknown date, being the daughter of Mr. Verity, the leader of Ordo Realitas. It's unknown how old Mia was when she joined the Order, but it's known that it was her father who trained her, making her a great investigator.
When she was still a child, Mia adopted a puppy, naming him Lupi.
Deconjuration[]
Mia was at the Ordo Realitas Base during agent Beatrice Portinari's first day, where she was talking to her father in his office about a case when Arthur Cervero knocked on the door to announce the newcomer's arrival. After finishing the conversation, Mia left and started reading some documents.[3] After the events in the St. Menefreda Orphanage, Mia takes Agatha Volkomenn to Elizabeth's symbolic funeral, watching Agatha's speech on the agent's grave from afar.[5]
The next day, Mia convinces her father to sleep, giving some support to the D-Force agents on the case, handing out some documents about Leonardo Gomes and Virgílio Scelto.[6] A few days later, Mia, while cleaning the mess in her father's office, ends up finding Arnaldo Fritz's notebook, which was related to the Deconjuration case, handing it over to the agents.[7] She also asked Renan Geleerd if he could translate a document related to the Deconjuration Order, with Renan succeeding and handing over the translation to D-Force.[8]
Calamity[]
Mia and Lupi were at the base when Arthur Cervero and Dante were sent to Bariguara on a mission.[9]
Quirks and Phobias[]
Monophobia: Mia has an emotional disorder known as monophobia, characterized by intense fear of being alone, incommunicable and/or going to places where the individual is unfamiliar. And to avoid panic attacks caused by loneliness, Mia always walks with her canine companion Lupi.[4]

Relationships[]
- Lupi: Mia and Lupi are such good companions that it could even be said that they are inseparable, since the two are always seen together, even on dangerous missions.[4]
- Mr. Verity: Being his daughter, Mia and her father have a strong relationship and trust each other,[10] as Mia can be found many times in the leader of the Order's office to discuss missions and cases.[3] Mia cares a lot about her father, insisting that he rest, even if he is a bit reluctant.[11]

- Mia and Lupi are available as skins in Songs for a Hero Definitive Edition.[12][13][14]
- The conceptual name for Mia's Perseverant Trail was "Final Girl".[15]
