The Merge is a Blood creature, being a repugnant result of an unhealthy biological experiment that was once a person. It manifests itself from someone who has exposed itself to a routine of feeding and living with parasitic beings, worms and insects, seeking a kind of "natural" revelation of the meaning of being human. This disgusting routine of self-torture actually devoured any and all remnants of humanity from who submitted to it, transforming it into this creature.
Appearance[]
The Merge is an amalgam and fusion of what was once human with an insect, its eyes were devoured and became holes that serve as a window to the disgusting creatures that inhabit its entire body, which has pustules and sores moving and writhing with the walk under the skin of the Merge of its parasites, as well as leeches and ticks in its outer layer. The fetid and unbearable smell exhaled from this amalgam can cause vomiting and fainting with a mere sudden exposure and corrupts environments that the creature has already passed.
While some have seen the Merge flying with wings like a giant fly, others report an elongated being as a Centipede. This indicates that the appearance of this creature is not always the same, but there is something that remains whatever kind of insect or worm it is resembling: its repugnance.
Behaviour[]
Regardless of its appearance, the Merge continues to have the same intentions, which are to consume its victims or incubate their eggs, seeking to feed and also the proliferation of the species itself through the creation of other creatures with its same aspect, or, briefly: more Merges.

- According to Cellbit, the idea for the Merge arose from his fear of insects and the desire to create a creature with a narrative pillar on the feeling of disgust.[1][2]
- The Merge is one of the few creatures in the Paranormal Order universe made based on Cellbit's personal fears/phobias, along with the Aracnasite and the Deep.
- For the visual creation of the Merge, the initial reference used was the movie The Fly.[3]
- For its painting, the grotesque aesthetic present in various David Cronenberg films was followed, in addition to using several images of disgusting things as references.[4]
