Matilda Duran is a character present in the Brumes of Vento Baixo mission. She is the secretary of the mayor Reinaldo Duran, supporting the agents of Ordo Realitas who arrived to Vento Baixo after it was closed by Xilosapien and their Roottens. Matilda is also the Reinaldo Duran's wife, as well as the Jamila Duran's stepmother.[1]
Personality[]
Matilda supports and worries about her husband, fearing for his safety after the death of her daughter and everything that happened. She finds herself under a lot of stress due to the attacks, worrying about the lives of the citizens and where these monsters came from. Matilda suspects that the former mayor, Eliana Carvalho, is involved with the creatures' incident, as she was not attacked by any of them. Due to Xilosapien's powers, Matilda has difficulty remembering proper names, referring to people and things in a broad and generic way.

Two years before the mission, Matilda moved to Vento Baixo after Reinaldo took over as mayor, becoming his secretary and later getting married.
After the death of her stepdaughter Jamila and the mists appeared over the city, Matilda and a driver took a reinforced truck and went to the Returned Angel campsite to take some supplies and medicine to those who were still there.

When Reinaldo arrives with the Order support, Matilda helps the agents by passing on information about the city and what happened with the attacks.
