I'm what the Obscurité call a leader, but... We're all like one big family.

Marc Menet is a French occultist and a member of Obscurité, an independent gang of occultists in France that follows a semi-anarchic structure. Although he doesn't assume leadership of the group, all members respect Marc deeply. He and his gang were called to Brazil following a Paranormal state of emergency decree due to the return of Kian.^[2]

Appearance[]

Marc is a black man of relatively strong build, with messy dark hair shaved on the sides, having a sun-like tattoo on the shaved part; and wispy beard. He has piercings in his nose and eyebrow, and eye-catching purple circular glasses that are connected by small chains to a kind of earring in his ear. You can see several tribal tattoos on his arms. He wears a dark T-shirt that is torn on the left arm, only being held up by a small piece of fabric. Around his neck is a small purple scarf, and chains surrounds his chest. On top of all this is a large overcoat, also purple, with metallic shoulder pads full of thorns, as well as on its sleeves and armlets. Like other members of the Obscurité, he wears cargo pants with two belts and dark boots.^[3]

Little is known about Marc Menet's background. He appears to be a longtime acquaintance of Mr. Verity and Antônio Pontevedra, but has lost contact with Balu since his departure from the Ordo Realitas.

Calamity[]

Kian has returned as a Marked, intent on destroying the Paranormal by annihilating all who have knowledge of the Other Side. With this, Marc and members of his French gang of occultists, the Obscurité, travel to Brazil with the intention of helping the Order to prevent the Calamity.

After the massacre of the Famiglia Leone is reported by the Team Vultures, his gang along with several agents of the Order and the other Support Teams go to Italy, where they turn the Leone's Mansion into a temporary base of operations. Once established, Marc Menet participates in a meeting with Mr. Verity, Agatha Volkomenn, Aaron and the Vultures, where they discuss the contents of Grimoire by Arnaldo Fritz. When adding a new page to the grimoire, two more pages appear that reveal a new clue: "Flavian Amphitheater". The Vultures team leaves to investigate the Coliseum, and Marc Menet, along with Ryder Staten, prepare their teams in case the agents need backup during the mission.
