Mandraque Ângelo

Mandraque Ângelo was Vanessa Ângelo's husband. He architected the Devilish Mansion in 1970, and together with his wife was the first resident of the house.^[1] Mandraque, due to being one of Kian's receptacles, is described by his wife as a powerful man and with immense wisdom, according to the book The Remorseful Little Witch, that was found in the house.^[2]

Appearance[]

Mandraque’s physiognomy in life is not known, but it is known that he had the Wretched Semblance, being necessarily similar to the previous and later versions of Kian, but his only representation in image is "The Wizard", a hooded figure in the book "The Remorseful Little Witch".^[2]

Biography[]

Mandraque Ângelo was an architect and receptacle of Kian, at some point he marries Vanessa Ângelo, and they go to live in the Devilish Mansion that he himself designed in the mid-1970s.^[1] Arriving there, they make a plan for the next passage, kidnapping four children and turning them into Existeds,^[3] and weakeaning the veil in a level that Virgílio Scelto could turn into the Wretched Semblance,^[4] and put the other part of Kian, on the statue in the Passage Hall, and somehow Mandraque dies right after the Knowledge Passage Ritual, leaving only Vanessa in the house, who ends up committing suicide after going crazy with her cats always watching her.^[5]^[6]

Trivia[]

The name "Mandraque Ângelo" is a pun with the name "Kian", that speaking out loud, it can be understandable "Mandra'que Ân'gelo", forming the name "Kian".
