The Maggake is one of several paranormal creatures that manifest on the Holy Cradle Mines.

Its first appearance was in the 13th episode of The Secret in the Forest, it's found in the depths of the city's mining area where the Red Crystals are extracted, being one of the greatest dangers of the place. It ended up burning to death when it fell into a large Red Crystal after being hammered by Arthur Cervero.

Appearance

A huge worm about 10 feet long, it has a large circular mouth with pointed teeth that surround its entire interior and a body separated into several rings that facilitate its locomotion. In addition, they have large, glowing red eyes on the sides of their head, and a rattle at the end of their tail.

Behavior

The Maggake, unlike other creatures, appears to be intelligent and resourceful, using the sound emitted from both its mouth and its tail to confuse its targets, as well as using the Mine's darkness and fog to hide.

Abilities

• Excavator: The Maggake lives underground waiting until the perfect moment to ambush its victims, and in order to be able to move in a practical way, it uses its large circular mouth to excavate its way at inhuman speed, like a type drill head, which makes it extremely strong while being protected inside the ground.

• Devour: It, also with its huge maw and its several rows of teeth, manages to swallow and even decapitate people by closing its jaws, swallowing whole bodies at once. In its first appearance, it projected itself towards Joui Jouki completely swallowing his head and sinking its teeth into his neck, trying to swallow the rest of his body, but ending up being removed by it in the end.

• Rattlesnake Tail: The Maggake takes advantage of the low light and fog of its habitat to hide where it will attack, emitting a rattling sound from its tail and its mouth at the same time at an extremely high volume, to hide where it will advance. After being extracted from the Joui Jouki's body, go behind him and use all the advantages of the place to face Thiago Fritz head on.
