Luis Miguel Kennedy
Luis Miguel Kennedy[1] is one of the protagonists of the series Paranormal Order, present in Paranormal Order: Quarantine.[2]
He was at Panacea Industries in Mexico City, registering for the medical trial in search of quick money,[3] which resulted in his abduction and exposure to various experiments with the Infecticide virus.
Appearance[]
Luis is a tall, young, Mexican man with messy brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has thin lips, a sturdy body and thick hands. On his head, he wears a navy blue sash, part covered by his hair, a little worn. Luis wears a white and gray striped shirt under a social shirt also navy-blue V-neck; above this, he wears a black turn-down jacket with white accents, having a front zipper pocket on the left. In addition, he also wears jeans and white shoes.
After the events of the "Part 1", and aiming to protect himself from the cold of Igneus Station, Luis grabs some winter clothes left in the director's office. He wears an orange coat with grey retails, with the Panacea symbol stamped on the retail on the left of his chest, red leather gloves, a red russian cap, reforced brown pants with grey retails and red boots with brown details, buckled up.
Personality[]
Luis is a confident and strong man, always willing to face risky situations to protect others. He demonstrates a moral commitment to defending the vulnerable, as he values the life of a child more than that of a war veteran. Furthermore, he shows no remorse when killing Matias, a scientist destined to die, after Matias asked him to end his suffering once and for all.
Biography[]
Luis was looking for easy money and decided to participate in the research in the offices of Panacea Industries. In this he ends up meeting Dr. Benito Camelo and Jeffrey Bacon, who participate in the survey with him. The questionnaire is extremely morbid, involving questions about sacrifice of lives and cannibalism for survival. Luis finds everything very strange, but answers the questions in the most correct and ethical way he can. However, at a certain point, the three find themselves locked in the room and an object is left inside, releasing a smoke that makes them faint.
When Luis wakes up he finds himself in a very hot bunker with several pipes blowing smoke. He is tied up in the room as well as 3 other people, except for Jeffrey, who was untying him. Jeffrey hands the keys to him and Luis then precedes to release the other people from the room while Jeffrey tries to close the valves.
When everything calms down, he talks to Jeffrey, Benito, Lucie and Diego about the situation. They notice the strange glove attached to their wrist, which injects an icy substance from time to time. Luis tries to break the glove but is prevented by Micael Cruzes, the mystery man who had given the keys to Jeffrey.
Michael says he works there, but needs their help to escape alive. Luis and the group, without many options, follow Michael to a room where they find a map that indicates where the main information and items they need to escape. In this, Luis, Lucie and Diego split from the rest and go to the medical bay to get an access card.
Arriving in the medical bay, the trio meets a man named Mathias. This man claims to be a local scientist, but he was already hopeless of surviving and demonstrating his morbidity and little regret. They tell him about the need to find a card and Mathias says the card is inside one of the lockers. But to access it, they need to unlock the locker and the only current way would be if the control computer was infected with the paranormal virus. Mathias then tells them about the small room where an infected person was trapped, the same room where the computer and lockers are.
The trio then devise ways to lure the creature to the computer. Eventually, Lucie opens the door and the creature goes up to Luis, who starts trying to fight it. After a few pushes on the creature by Luis and Diego, it returns its attention into the small room, where Lucie was now. It goes towards Lucie, who dribbles the creature up the small control tower and causing it to infect the computer and get stuck there.
When the locker opens, they find only one revolver with two bullets inside. Confused, they talk to Mathias, who tells them that the card was with him the whole time. He continues in his morbidity talking about all that and how his brother had become that creature they faced. In the end, he asks to spare his suffering and take his life for good. Luís then without hesitation, uses one of his bullets and shoots the man, who falls dead.
They return to the rest of the group, who found information on how to control the virus with low temperatures. In this, they access the system in the control room with the access card and try to turn on the site’s HVAC. However, they need to turn the key in the power room, so they leave together until then.
On the way many creatures begin to chase the group, and Jeffrey and Lucie end up being held and bitten by several of them. Luis tries to help by shooting the creatures but to no avail. Then as a last resort, he throws his flashlight into the flammable barrel and causes a small explosion that, despite delaying the creature, seriously injures Lucie. With help from the others, they manage to draw Lucie away from the creatures, but Jeffrey and Diego stay behind. While Luis, Emi, Lucie, and Benito race to try to turn on the HVAC system, Diego and Jeffrey try to survive the creatures' deadly bites.
Luis runs as far as he can up the lever and eventually turns on the coolant and the creatures stop. Diego then manages to save Jeffrey from death by stopping his bleeding and helping him get up.
The group sees that the door to the room where Micael had locked himself was open, and will see what was there. They find Michael alive inside, with his arm twisted and wearing a glove on the other. He begins to explain about the research in that place and thanked the group for their help. However, he goes on to say that the real hell would start out there, where that creature was already hunting.

- Luis' outfit is inspired by character Leon S. Kennedy, protagonist of the series Resident Evil.[1]
- Roier put the surname Kennedy in his character without warning Cellbit previously.[1]
- Luis has a Taco shop.[3]
- Cellbit confirmed that one of the references to the character’s appearance was a photo of Roier himself.[6]
- Luis has a grandmother, who calls his abuelita. There are indications that the easy money he wanted to get in Panacea would be used for the elderly, but there are no confirmations.
