The song will take eight rounds to finish. Good luck surviving until then.
Master[1]
The Listened is a paranormal creature of Death with complement of Energy and Fear that manifests itself from someone who heard the "Spiral Melody", a forbidden paranormal song that can drive anyone who listens to it completely crazy.
Its first appearance was in the 16th episode of Deconjuration, being the penultimate monster to appear in Devilish Mansion, manifesting from the dead body of one of the house's former residents, Heitor Mare,[2] as a result of the Forced Haunt Ritual in his coffin in the house.[3] This creature was killed after Arthur Cervero finished playing the song "Spiralem Melodiam", causing all its copies to melt into Black Ooze.[4]
Appearance[]

This grayish-colored creature has a slender, twisted body, also made up of thin, stretched limbs that move quadrupedally. Its ribcage is exposed and opened, showing several sharp and brittle bones from which Black Ooze leaks. It has an inverted posture, with its belly upwards and its head hanging down, so that it can become detached from the rest of its body.[2]

When necessary, its head can easily come out of its joints and function singularly, even if its head is still functioning. The head has a similarly thin, skeletal shape, with a stretched jaw and crooked teeth, which the creature uses to attack when severed from the rest of its body.[5]
Behavior[]
The Listened is an immortal creature who ends up being attracted to any melody it hears. However, it has a great connection with the song "Spiralem Melodiam", which is responsible for its creation and also the only thing capable of destroying it. When its Enigma of Fear is solved, that is, exposing it to Spiralem Melodiam completely, it is killed.[4] However, this is not an easy task, as the creature will manifest itself in a fit of rage at the sound of the notes, quickly going after the person responsible for playing the melody to kill it at all costs.[6]
Abilities[]
- Ribcage: With its ribcage exposed and broken, the Listened jumps at its victims and pierces them with its ribs, causing great damage.[7]
- Head Thrown: Whenever he wants, the Listened can detach its head from his own body and throw it at a target, thus being able to bite him.[5]
- Melodic Multiplication: When the two parts of the symphony are put together and played, not just one, but several Listened instances will try to stop the guitarist from playing the music.[8]
Trivia[]
- On a stream, Cellbit commented that this was one of the monsters that wouldn't have its name revealed so that the community could have their own interpretations.[9] The Wiki editors then collectively agreed on the nickname Listened, due to a mishearing of one of them during the episode, but that actually fit very well.
- Later, Cellbit revealed that the creature's original name was Decapitated Man, as a contrast to the Drowned Woman. However, because he really liked the name adopted by the community, he made "Listened" official as the creature's name.[10]
