Leandro[2]
Leandro was one of the protagonists of the Paranormal Order series, present in Gruesome Christmas.[1]
Leandro, after being left aside by his father in the Christmas plans, decides to meet with some former school friends at the Goodwill Moon's Camp.
In a heroic attempt to save his friend Ricardo, he ends up being brutally attacked by the Night Mutilator, that mutilates his body and throws the remains to the dogs.
Appearance[]
Leandro was a fair-skinned man, 5'74" feet tall, brown eyes and short messy black hair shaved to the sides, having visible tattoos on his arms, neck and face. He wore a black shirt with sleeves embroidered by white details, along with a kind of scarf around the neck, and wine-red trousers in a stripped style, with chains hanging on the detailed belt of white color, and high-heeled shoes. In addition, Leandro adorned his look with a variety of bracelets, rings and earrings, with different designs.
Personality[]
Leandro was a sincere (sometimes too much), impulsive and quite antisocial person, constantly preferring to be alone or simply isolated than with the people around him. Often acted in an arrogant and rude manner, disparaging others except with Lila, his best friend, who received a kind exclusive treatment coming from Leandro. Although he was shown to be an ignorant or aggressive person most of the time, Leandro was extremely benevolent and altruistic, being able to sacrifice his own safety and then his own life to save Ricardo, one of his friends.
Biography[]
Past[]
Leandro was a young man who had a special bond with Lila Bonelli, his best friend since elementary school. Together, they lived unforgettable moments while doing piercings, tattoos and adventuring in nights of curiosity and mystery with the Ouija board.[3] Leandro also bullied Ricardo Rocha in his time at school, not noticing that Ricardo was bad about it and only years later, already in college, got heavy on his conscience, apologizing through a phone call.[4]
After complications of priority with his father, he decided not to spend Christmas alone. Looking for something better to celebrate, he accepted, along with former school colleagues, to meet again in the Goodwill Moon's Camp, where new possibilities and memories awaited to be built.
Gruesome Christmas[]
Leandro and his friends, including Lila, are travelling uncomfortably in a rented car on the roads of a mountainous region of Paraná. After a few hours of travel, they reach their destination: the Goodwill Moon's Camp. Thinking how much he didn't want to be there, Leandro gets out of the car with his colleagues.
Soon, the young people take their luggage and head for the nearest cabin. Upon entering the place, the group begins to discuss about the reservation of the camp. While the others talk, Leandro goes to lie down on the couch there. In the process, he notices some high-caliber rifle bullets and dirty bandages on the room rack, as well as a phone outside the hook just next door, as if someone had recently used it in a hurry. He picks up the bullets, feeling a shiver through his body and hearing inside his head the sound of a shot. The strange sensation passes, and he shows one of the bullets to the others, then keeping it with him.
Then, the group goes to the main house: Juno House. Entering the place, they separate, to know more about the chalet. Leandro looks under the carpet in the entrance hall and, not seeing anything special, follows Lila. Arriving in the dining room, he hears Shanyqua reading a news story about someone missing in that same camp. The three then notice something strange in the kitchen: the refrigerator is down, with the door facing up. Shanyqua begins to despair about the strange things of the camp and the group debate about.
After a while talking, Leandro goes to store his suitcase in the main suite, along with part of the group, and finds a rosary, which he picks up for himself. After that, everyone goes down and meets in the kitchen. There, they hear coming from the back of the house, the sound of a branch breaking; Leandro approaches the back door and begins to hear something scratching it. He then decides to open the door and comes across a puppy: Joto. The animal enters and stays with the group, which begins to eat.
Then, the friends gather in the living room and take a souvenir photo. Then they start a Secret Santa, distributing gifts to each other. Leandro receives a kind of grimoire by Jorel and gifts a skull to Ricardo. With the end of the Secret Santa, they decide to go to sleep, taking the mattresses upstairs and bringing in the room. Realizing that there was no room for one person, Leandro and Ricardo go out to get the mattress from the other cabin.
Walking, the two see a police truck entering the camp with the lights off and parking next to the group's car. Leandro and Ricardo turn off the lanterns of their cell phones and get down, still watching. They notice the silhouette of a man with an axe coming out from inside the vehicle. The individual takes out a black bag that was moving in the truck’s bucket, puts it on the ground and gives a blow with his axe in the bag. Leandro takes a small stone and throws it towards the figure, which looks back, revealing, illuminated by the moonlight, a white mask with the stain of a red hand printed. Leandro remembers stories about the Night Mutilator, a supposed serial killer, responsible for the disappearances in that region, and associates that man is precisely this killer.
So, Leandro and his friend return to the Juno House. While Leandro stands guard at the front door, Ricardo warns others about the man’s presence. Leandro notices the killer walking towards him and goes to meet with the others, explaining better about that serial killer. The group as a whole, discusses about what to do next, but it’s too late: he’s already there. The Night Mutilator begins to search for the young people around the house who, in turn, do their best to hide. Leandro goes slowly, not to make noise, to the back door of the kitchen. He continues on an alternate path behind the house until he hears Ricardo’s screams and, after a while, he sees the Mutilator dragging the unconscious athlete down the hill.
Leandro follows, furtively and alone, the killer through the camp. After a while walking, he sees an old and torn cabin in the distance. Approaching, he notices the presence of Ricardo, who is tied hands and struggling while hanging on a meat hook. Leandro immediately runs inside to help his friend and notices that the Mutilator is out there, heading towards the two. Leandro takes his scalpel and cuts Ricardo's ropes, who desperately tries to unhook. Realizing that he could not help Ricardo to get off the hook, Leandro goes outside and purposely draws the attention of the killer, running in shot next.
The Mutilator calls his Hunting Dogs, while Ricardo manages to escape and runs past Leandro. The two are then pursued frantically. Leandro, in an attempt to lose both the dogs and the killer, throws himself and hides in a nearby bush. For a few seconds, he feels safe until he hears footsteps coming from behind him. As he turns, he sees the Night Mutilator, with his axe raised, ready to strike. Leandro screams and the killer’s response is an axe to his right shoulder. Leandro tries to crawl away from there, shouting once more for help. The Mutilator cuts his hand with another blow of an axe. He takes the other one, then. He steps on Leandro’s chest, takes one of his severed hands and shoots to his dogs. Soon after, he pulls out of his pocket a stopwatch that begins to measure how long Leandro remains alive. He continues to strike with axes, one after the other, incessantly. With his last strength, Leandro screams, for it is all he can do. In his last moments, he regrets not having run away and first of all to have gone to spend Christmas with his friends. Leandro also thinks about how he would not bring pride to his father in the end, something he longed for. The axe then cuts his face in half and he finally dies.

Cursed Items[]

Powerful Ammo: A large bullet for high-caliber hunting rifle. It was picked up by Leandro from inside the Eclipse Cabin and guarded by the same, who felt a shiver and a bizarre intention to pass through his body when touching it, as well as hearing the sound of a rifle shot inside his head. The properties of the ammunition, however, are unknown.
Relationships[]
- Lila Bonelli: Leandro and Lila were best friends since elementary school, and since very young did several things together, from pranks to tattoos and piercings. Leandro showed certain care and even a degree of protection with Lila, going as far as threatening to assault Jorel for he has upset her.[3]
- Ricardo Rocha Rodrigues: During the school season, Leandro bullied with Ricardo, because of his short stature, but some time later, Leandro was heavy on his conscience and apologized to him.[4] Some years after having apologized to Ricardo, both meet again, with Leandro appearing not even to have bothered to remember the name of the former colleague, spelling wrong his name several times, despite this, Leandro seemed genuinely concerned when Ricardo was knocked out and taken by the Night Mutilator, following the serial killer to save his colleague.
Trivia[]
- Leandro originally would be responsible for taking the group to the Goodwill Moon's Camp, since the young man was an admirer of the Order and would see this Christmas trip as an opportunity to catch the assassins to prove himself and be hired.[5]
- Leandro listened some musics from an artist named NGHTMRZ during the 2020 pandemics. If Jorel and he developed a better relationship during Gruesome Christmas, Leandro would find out that, actually, that artist was Jorel.[6]
