You finally arrived!
Jushur[1]
Jushur was an occultist that was part of the Escribes, being one of them found in the Passage Corridors.
He briefly appeared in Elizabeth Webber's attempt to escape at the St. Menefreda Orphanage[2] and then he was found in the Corridors, located underground from the Devilish Mansion, where he faced D-Force from Ordo Realitas.[3][4] He was killed by a shot of Luciano Carvalho in his head.[5]
Appearance[]

Jushur was a middle-aged man with a full gray beard and whitish eyes, with his hair concealed by the hood of his cloak, his body covered in Escribes' tattoos being more visible on his arms, hands and belly. Jushur carried with him a book chained to his waist and another in hands that he uses to use his rituals.[4][6]
Biography[]
Past[]
Nothing is known about his past, only that he entered the Escribes in an unknown year.
Deconjuration[]
Along with the other Escribes, Jushur was present at the Saint Menefreda Orphanage just as the Order agents tried to escape after the rescue of Elizabeth Webber, witnessing her being killed by her leader, Gal.[2]
At the Final Day of the Deconjuration, he served as the guard responsible for Hugo Longo, reading his book and telling the boy to be quiet while waiting for the markeds.[3] After the agents' failed attempt to sneak into the room, Jushur engages with them,[4] resulting in his death caused by a shot of Luciano Carvalho in his head.[5]
Rituals and Skills[]
Rituals[]
Zero Entropy Ritual: Jushur climbed on the chair, closed his eyes and upon opening them they became completely black, dripping a black tear, which made Luciano Carvalho and Bruno stay in slow motion briefly, working similarly to the main skill of The God of Death, but with its very reduced intensity and different effect.[7]
Wither Ritual: After using the Time Distortion Ritual on Luciano Carvalho and Bruno, he uses a ritual on Luciano, causing him to begin to wither, damaging him with Death.[8]
Flames of Chaos Ritual: After pointing to Kaiser's gun, Jushur caused its temperature to rise reaching an almost unbearable point, which forces the agent to drop his weapon knocking it away.[9]
Cicatrization Ritual: After losing his arm to Erin Parker, he starts trying to heal his arm with his other hand. This ritual consists in accelerating the healing of an injury, leaving a scar in a spiral shape.[10]
Skills[]
Unbreakable Focus: The user of this skill lets him use two rituals in one round or focus on one and use another, seen when Jushur uses more than one ritual in the same turn a few times during battle.
Paranormal Defense: The Paranormal interfered when Jushur was about to be attacked, making it harder to hit him.[11]
Trivia[]
- Jushur was the name of the first king of the first dynasty of Kish, an ancient Sumerian city being the first to have a king after the flood, according to the Sumerian king list.
- Cellbit had prepared an extra dialogue that would be a joke with the name "Jushur", that looks similar to the word "Chuchu", but he decided to not use the dialogue.[12][13]
