Juarez Pontes was one of the cops called to investigate the Devilish Mansion. He went to the mansion to answer a complaint that had from the front house, alongside his partner Ana Júlia. He met the Order agents in the mansion and questioned their presence there. Soon after, for not believing the agents about the paranormal presence, Juarez is killed by the Traveler, a monster that inhabited the mansion.^[3]

Appearance[]

Juarez was a tall man with a strong physical build, had dark hair and eyes and a thin beard on his chin. He wore a gray uniform with a dark vest, which had police items such as a badge, a radio communicator and a pistol.^[4]

Personality[]

Due to his short appearance, it was not possible such a large development of the character. However, it's known that, because of his military training, he was someone who could show rigidity and seriousness, at least while doing his police work.

Biography[]

Juarez is called with his partner, Ana, to investigate a complaint made by Cassiano Menta, Eduarda Flom and Hugo Longo on the Blue Condominium.^[5] When he arrives there, he finds the agents resting in the house, and after a small talk, he notices Kaiser armed and called Ana to help him. Thinking they were trying to trick him, he did not trust the agents' word regarding the paranormal presence in the mansion, as one would expect from an ordinary person. Juarez only begins to believe the moment he realizes the despair of the surrendered team. However, the trust that was being gained was broken when Joui Jouki tries to give him a rear naked choke, losing to the strength of the military officer. Soon after that, Juarez was caught and killed by the Traveler.^[3]

After his death, Juarez's body transformed into a Blood Zombie and attacked agent Beatrice Portinari, that had already been transformed into an Existed.^[6]
