João Halberto is one of the employees of the editorial team of TV Varminho. He had his first appearance in the 6th episode of Signals from the Other Side, where he received Lirio and Xande along with his team. Despite being a Doppelganger, he seemed one of the calmest of the team, trying to help Lirio and Xande behave in the office.[2]

João is a man with fair skin, messy brown hair and green eyes that are apparent due to being a Doppelganger. Wears a light blue shirt with a dark cyan tie and an ID badge, black dress pants and black shoes. He also wears a watch on his left wrist.
