Jamila Duran was an environmental activist, friend of Eliana Carvalho and Reinaldo Duran's daughter, who ended up dying during one of her protests. After that, Jamila transforms into a Xilosapien, covering the city's outskirts with Brumes and attacking the repentant with the Awakened Rootten.[1]

Jamila firmly followed the city's naturalist tradition, together with Eliana, she frequently protested against Woods Axe and its deforestation in the region's forests, being hurt by her father for his actions. Eliana described the girl as someone with eyes that shone with hope.

Daughter of Reinaldo Duran with an unknown woman, Jamila grew up in the city of Vento Baixo loving its folklore and having a friendship with Eliana Carvalho, who were colleagues in environmental activism, much to Reinaldo's chagrin.
When her father took over as mayor, he formed a partnership with the company Machado Madeiras to extract wood from the forests in the city, with Jamila, Eliana and several citizens opposing their operations, thinking that removing the wood would " disturb the balance of the place". Jamila protested masked with other residents coming to the Misty Forest to the company's headquarters, which became frequent over time and led to her being arrested several times.
Death[]
Some time before the mission events, Jamila with several other people were protesting in the forest, where unknowingly one of the machines used on the trees was turned on and ended up decapitating and cutting off the young woman's right arm, brutally killing her in front of the other protesters. After that, with a painful death and a great desire for repentance, Jamila ended up returning as a paranormal creature. She initially was a Rootten with faint golden lights coming out of her, which later strengthened into a Xilosapien with the Fear of the Brumes citizens.
