Ian Suna

Ian Suna is one of the childs that live in Tipora Island. He first appeared in the 1st episode of The Secret in the Island, where he appeared going to the village's school where he lived with his mother, Iara Suna.^[1]

Later, Ian appears crying after his cat, Bisteca, has been stolen by Pedrinho.^[2]

Appearance[]

Ian is a small boy, brown skin, brown hair and eyes also brown. He wears a blue blouse with some patchwork sewn into it, a brown pants and a pair of brown shoes.

Personality[]

Ian is an innocent and emotional child, easily demonstrating his feelings in various situations, he is also very fearful, always seeking protection in people close to him in moments of tension.

Ian was born approximately 9 years ago in Tipora Island, being son of Vinicius Freitas and Iara Suna.

The Secret in the Island[]

Day 1[]

In the morning, Ian goes to the school with his mother, being reached by Amora and Bisteca, Ian is left with Valéria Nemiera to study.

In the course of the day, he has the little cat stolen from his hands by Pedrinho and Vitinho, that takes him and runs away. Ian cries a lot and seeks comfort from Amora, who goes to the store of her father to look for help. Arriving there, both see Milo Castello and Olivier Florence, and seeing the child’s despair, both youngs volunteer to look for the animal.

After spending time searching, the four find the two brothers in the middle of the forest, mistreating Bisteca, Milo argues and fights with Pedrinho, who gets angry and throws Bisteca up a tree, where the cat remains. The two flee while Ian continues crying for his friend, he is consoled by Olivier and Amora, until Milo rescues the kitten and brings him back safely, handing him over to Ian. The two children are happy to have Bisteca back and are taken back to the village by Barnabé.

Day 2[]

The next day, Ian is seen attending the Church's barbecue, first trying to catch Bisteca who was almost falling into the village well, he is attracted to Milo and then delivered to Ian, after that Ian enjoys the show of Milo, who plays his banjo for all residents, eats the food and leaves for his home the moment Celestino appears in the middle of the celebration.

Day 3[]

Ian is not seen walking by the village throughout the day, staying in his home after the inhabitants discover the body in the beach.

Day 4[]

Ian goes to the rally at the church with his mom, he stays quite through all Evandro's speech, until the moment the officer is assaulted by Bartô, where he and his mother runs out of the church.

Day 5[]

Ian stays inside his house all day, going out at night after the chaos and turmoil inside the police station, being held by Barnabé and after delivered to Iara so that she would take care of him inside her house next to Amora.

Day 6[]

Throughout the day Ian remains hidden inside the church next to his mom, on the advice of Barnabé. Right after the Imaginary Friend emerges, he along with his mother are saved by Wanderley, running from the church and protecting himself in the house of Návia Eiland.

Day 7[]

After surviving the attack of the creature, during the dawn Ian follows Adrian next to the other residents of Tipora, he climbs the boat of the same and with his mother, parts of the island.

Relationships[]

Amora Aleno: Ian and Amora stay together whenever they can, playing and walking around the island together, being the only two children on the island the two have created a very strong bond, being closer friends.

Bisteca: Ian is very attached to Bisteca, with the cat being brought to the island at the request of his mom, so Ian could have a pet.
