Very emotional... but I warned you all, that you wouldn’t want to see me bleeding.
Henri[1]
But now... Now I feel, inside of you, an uncontrollable torment; the most pure, and beautiful hatred.
Henri[2]
Henri was one of the orphans of St. Menefreda Orphanage. During his time at the place, he became one of the closest friends of Gal, that induced him to flee with him from the orphanage, causing several problems to the local caregivers.[3] With time passing, Henri grew, being influenced by Leonardo Gomes as well as most of the children of the orphanage, becoming a Blood-obssessed Escribe.
During the Final Day of the Deconjuration, Henri confronted the Ordo Realitas agents and Bruno, who turned out to be a traitor. After being seriously injured and threatening agents to kill themselves to kill some of them, he is released and flees, letting the agents proceed.
Henri returns in Calamity, inside the Dark Restriction cell made especially for Kian, where he reveals to be the current wielder of the Relic of Blood, sharing his existence with The Devil itself.[4]
Appearance[]
Childhood[]

As a child, Henri already had long, tied hair and dark eyes. In the only photo in which it is seen, he wore a green shirt, black pants and torn in the region of the knees, with two chains passing through it. In addition, he had a bracelet with metal spikes, wore boots, and carried a slingshot in one hand and a bag of stones in the other, with some blood falling from his mouth.[5]
Deconjuration[]

Henri is a tall man, with brown hair and whitish eyes. He wears hair tied in a ponytail and marks of fatigue are visible below his eyes. He has a strong physical bearing and passes a confident image, and his disturbing smile is one of the main traits of his personality.[6] He is always seen wielding a beautiful knife and decorated with several waves.[7]
Around his body there are several blood stains, most visible on his arms and neck. His entire body is covered in tattoos (with the exception of his arm and left chest), containing the same kind of gloomy phrases tattooed on others Escribes.

During the events of the Final Day of the Deconjuration, after being seriously injured by a sledgehammer of Bruno, Henri begins to turn his own spilled blood into a kind of protective armor that covers his body almost completely, reaching his eyes and mouth. The reddish color of the blood mixes with stronger tones, which resemble its veins and even organs; it is remarkable the mixture of dry and fresh blood that stains it, with a pointed layer on the left shoulder protruding. Because of this layer of blood Henri gets great protection, almost not feeling physical attacks and shots in certain regions.[8]
During the fight against D-Force, helped by Bruno, Henri is flanked several times by shots to his face, with several of them grazing him. The most notable scars received happened in one of his eyes, hit by a bullet, and a shotgun blast in his left hand, which destroyed his limb completely.
Calamity[]
Henri continues with his hair tied, now with a long fringe on the side of the eye hole he lost earlier. His remaining eye is now yellowish, and his mouth has three piercings on the left side of his face. As the wielder of the Relic of Blood, he wears the same clothes as the Devil: a long black tunic with red details that extends to the ground, with long, loose sleeves and tears at the ends, with a hood that covers his head and neck.
Personality[]
Henri is a restless man, quite confident and always brings a disturbing smile on his face. He is obsessed with seeing blood gushing, either from his allies or from his enemies, and usually licks the blood of his victims and even his own. Despite his fearful smile and insane obsession, in his first appearance he proved not to be very aggressive.
In his third appearance, in the 18th episode of Deconjuration, Henri shows a masochistic personality to appear to like to suffer pain to be hit by the Flesh Out Ritual, performed by Luciano Carvalho.[9] Henri is also described in letters left by Sister Thelma as "an evil boy with a violent nature", since in one of the letters it is said that he continued throwing stones at birds and mistreating animals. In another letter, the nun says that the punishments are increasingly severe for Henri and that he was enjoying it, doing things like picking fights with children or mistreating animals on purpose to be punished.
Henri also appeared to have a great bond and admiration for Gal, since in the letters it is said that the two were always together and that Henri used to run away in the company of his friend, accompanying him in shows of diabolical songs (probably the employees of the Orphanage were referring to the band of agents of the Order, the Metallic Dragons). In the same letters it is also written that they no longer had hope for Gal, but Henri, being younger, believed that he could still have a drastic change of personality if he received the "right treatment" and stopped being in bad company.
Biography[]
Past[]
Henri grew up in the St. Menefreda Orphanage, along with Dante, Beatrice, Nubi, Gal and other childs. He was always Gal’s close friend and the two were caught fleeing together several times, being punished severely the first time.[10] After this occasion, Henri started to cause problems constantly, such as disturbing other children and killing birds with the slingshot he always took with him (as seen in the photo of the Orphanage of 2006). These behaviors raised suspicions that Henri was enjoying the punishments received.[11]
During the night of the fire in the orphanage in 2009 caused by a "game" of The Host in order to kill Kian,[12] Henri, along with Nubi and Gal, tortured and murdered Nina, one of the orphans, thus making his first victim.[13][14] After the fire, the three joined the Cult of Knowledge, as well as some other residents who survived the tragedy.
Deconjuration[]
In the 5th episode of Deconjuration, upon arrival near the Orphanage Outdoor Area, the agents see Henri and other Escribes distracted, while praising someone called Kian as a kind of deity. The team splits up to catch them by surprise and, upon reaching the other side of the orphanage with Dante and Joui, Beatrice realizes that, even though he appears to be blind, Henri was staring at her as he walks towards her. However, instead of attacking them, Henri invites them to the center of the courtyard and proposes a challenge. When they see the three approaching an agglomeration in the center of the place, Kaiser and Arthur decide to approach too. When asked why all this, Henri only replies that they would leave them alone to rescue Elizabeth on the second floor if they won at least two of three challenges.
The First Challenge consisted of a duel of Blood using only blades against one of Henri’s men, José, but as this had already been killed ends up being replaced by Agarim, other Escribe armed with a scythe. Joui applies to take part in the first challenge, but first asks Dante if he could "fix" his wound. Henri stops him and stabs Agarim, claiming to have resolved the issue after causing a serious injury to his partner in order to leave the fight fair. The Escribe is defeated by Joui, who channels his anger and his will to find Elizabeth hitting the wound in the stomach of the Occultist, cutting it in half.[15]
Shortly after the defeat of the first occultist, Henri calls Nergal, a hooded occultist, for a duel of Pain, bloodless. Dante is committed to the challenge and Henri explains that the battle would be of resistance, winning who could stand for longer. Before starting, Dante asks Nergal for animal ashes and the occultist takes out of his bag a jar, handing it to the agent. Dante then goes to the body of Agarim and rip out his liver.
Nergal asks Dante to start and Dante makes his ritual, opening the jar of ashes and producing a smoke that causes blisters and wounds to begin to emerge in the occultist’s body, exploding in pus and blood. Nergal then starts his Mental Pollution Ritual pulling a metallic object and pointing at Dante, who begins to feel a kind of itch and boil in his brain and imagine disturbing images, feeling a terrible headache. Dante’s Decadence continues to take effect, and Nergal falls to the ground vomiting his organs.[16]
After the defeat of the second occultist, Henri says that even with their victory, he still wanted to see a third round. Approaching a big and muscular Existed and dragging it to the center of the courtyard, Henri stabs the creature in the back and pushes it towards the agents as a "final gift". After a fervent battle, Henri and the other surviving Escribe disappear.[17]
Some time later, Henri was present at the meeting of the Escribes with the Ordo Realitas agents, where he witnessed Elizabeth Webber's death by the hands of Gal.
On November 6, the Escribes reunite at the Blue Condominium, in Canadense. Henri receives the team of agents of the Order formed by Kaiser, Arthur, Dante, Erin and Luciano in the condominium's street, joined by a giant four-armed creature. The occultist explains that the creature was actually the father Ronaldo Crosti, who physically punished him when he was just a child, but says that now it was the priest who felt pain.[10] After his speech, Henri drives a knife into the creature’s back as he shouts ordering it to say his name. The aberration tears the seams from its mouth as it grows exponentially, and Henri climbs on top of a car, laughing and watching the fight. During the battle, Henri is the victim of a Flesh Out Ritual made by Luciano, but he seems to like the pain caused by asking the agent to continue the process.
To Henri's surprise, the agents manage to defeat Enpap-X, surviving seriously injured. Henri then grabs Kaiser, who was lying on the ground, and puts a knife to his neck. He ends up being stopped by Bruno, who asks him to let him kill the agent, but instead attacks Henri with his sledgehammer, rendering him unconscious. Henri wakes up a while later, creating a Blood Armor Ritual around his body and getting faster. After stabbing Clara to death, he starts a fight against the agents and Bruno. In the fight, he loses parts of his face, one of his eyes, pieces of his shoulder and his left hand. Before being killed, he marks a symbol on himself that shared his injuries on people and that, if he was killed, Kaiser, Luciano and Arthur would die too. Thus, he gets a deal with the agents claiming to realize that they are stronger than before. Henri runs, disappearing into the fog.
Calamity[]
After almost 1 year, after the events that succeeded at The Colosseum and the containment of Kian, Henri is seen in the cell made especially for the body of the Realizer of the Calamity, at the Ordo Realitas Base, facing him while smiling and soon after, taking the form of The Devil and offering a pact to Kian.
Rituals[]

Blood Armor Ritual: After Henri bleeds enough after being hit by Bruno, his blood begins to form a kind of armor around his body, reducing injuries caused and increasing his speed.[8]

Blood Link Ritual: After marking two different symbols on his targets, Henri is able to replicate some of the wounds inflicted on the target marked by one of the symbols to those marked by the other symbol.[18]
