The Guilt Parasite is a Knowledge misshapen creature with the complement of Death, Blood and Fear, being the result of the Third Hotelier's experiments into a peaceful entity with the ability to feed on the dreams of other individuals.^[1]

Its first appearance was in the 10th episode of The Secret in the Woods,^[2] where it was killed by Joui Jouki, who cut off the "Hotelier's" head, the physical form the monster was using to talk to Joui.^[3] After his death, everyone who was under the effect of the parasite woke up from their nightmare.

Appearance[]

The Guilt Parasite is a creature capable of creating nightmares and illusions of anyone based on unresolved information and feelings in the minds of the hosts to create desperate situations.

In the real world a Guilt Parasite has a black body that resembles several small tentacles with a main one as if they were its neck and face. The creature overall closely resembles the Black Ooze.^[2]

Behavior[]

The Guilt Parasites are intelligent creatures, having different motivations and methods, but all have the common goal of causing the greatest psychological pressure caused by the feeling of Guilt on their targets and to strengthen themselves. They can only be defeated if their manifestations are directly confronted by the main host during the dream after it realizes that it is dreaming. Some of these creatures have self-destructive behavior, dissipating or not minding being destroyed after feeding on the targets' Guilt.

Abilities[]

Mimesis: The creature can create copies of anyone its host knows, copying their appearance, voice and memories of the person, this copy takes on superhuman strength and resistance, depending on the guilt the person feels about the person being mimicked.^[4]
