Gregory was an Escribe who grew up at the St. Menefreda Orphanage. He had his first appearance in the 6th episode of Deconjuration along with other Escribes, intercepting the D-Force agents trying to escape the Orphanage after rescuing Elizabeth Webber.^[2]

At the 10th episode of Calamity, it is revealed that Gregory had his perception of time distorted: what was years for some, were seconds for him, therefore, he remained a child in his mind, despite his body having grown into an adult.^[3] Gregory died after being slaughtered by Yuki's blades.^[4]

Childhood[]

In his childhood, Gregory was a black boy, as was his sister Nubi. His physical size was of great prominence among the children in his orphanage, being taller and somewhat muscular compared to the other children. His hair was short and black, and in the photo taken with the other young people from the St. Menefreda Orphanage, Gregory was wearing a gray short-sleeved T-shirt.^[5]

Deconjuration and Calamity[]

In Deconjuration and Calamity, Gregory possessed an even taller, more muscular physique. The left side of his body was covered in escribes tattoos, the most visible being the word "Unbreakable" on the back of his neck. Like other escribes, his eyes were whitish, and his only clothing was green jeans.

Gregory grew up at the Saint Menefreda Orphanage with his sister, Nubi, and the other orphans. On the day of the fire at the orphanage, those who did not perform rituals would lose the "game" created by the The Host in order to kill Kian, several orphans died in the flames,^[6] but, according to Nina's reports, some of them, including Gal, Henri and Nubi killed and tortured the girl, and Gregory was also present at this process, witnessing the first ritual of Nubi.^[7] According to Nina, Nubi sucked from her "all my time, all my days, everything I could be was leaking out of me". However, the ritual had an undesired effect, altering Gregory's temporal perception, making his mind perceive the passing of hours, days, and even years as if they were seconds,^[3] and her sister Nubi felt the opposite effect.

Deconjuration[]

Along with the other Escribes, Gregory was present at the St. Menefreda Orphanage when the agents of the Order tried to escape after rescuing Elizabeth Webber.

Calamity[]

Thus, Gregory's body continued to grow and follow his sister through the years. During the second invasion of the Leone's Mansion, Gregory was present along with Nubi and other Escribes, having black ooze pouring out of his eyes. However, even with his great physical size, Gregory was killed with a single blow from Yuki, dying in front of his sister, as if only a few seconds had passed since the 2009 fire.^[4]
