The Goodwill Moon's Camp is a camp with many cabins featured in the 1st episode of Gruesome Christmas. It is located on the side of the road in the Haddock Ecological Park region of Inquisidor do Vale in the state of Paraná.
The camp is a large space surrounded by nature. It is full of green space, trails, wooden cabins, and leisure facilities, all placed around Diamond Lake. In addition, due to an urban legend telling of the unexplained disappearance of several people during the night there, the region has gained fame as being haunted.
Reports show that the place is the scene of many disappearances, acts of a serial killer, and practices of the Other Side, further fueling the stories of fear and mystery that surround the place.
History[]
There are records that in the late 1900s, Alice resided at Juno House, a place marked by occult practices and dark mysteries. Since many rituals that included blood sacrifices were practiced there, the camp presented an atmosphere of fear and secrets. Alice became increasingly tormented and obsessed with concepts linked to the "Other Side".
On November 3, 1994, a 21-year-old student named Regiane George disappeared in the facilities of the Goodwill Moon's Camp. The last place she was seen was near Diamond Lake. She had spent the night outside to watch the lunar eclipse, and, to date, her whereabouts remain unknown.
At the end of 2022, on December 21, on Christmas Eve, a group of young people face problems with the bus in front of the camp. In search of help and shelter amid the intense night rain, they decide to explore the place, unaware that they were entering a horror scenario. Three days later, with no news of his brother who had gone to the camp and the unavailability of the police to assist in the search, Jorel Lagos calls some old school friends, and decide to spend Christmas together at the Goodwill Moon's Camp. However, he didn't explain to his friends his real intentions when organizing the meeting: to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his brother.
