The Glacius Station is the place where researches on the Infecticide virus were conducted by the Panacea Industries.

History[]

Being a research place of the Panacea Industries, there is little information about the station and past. Currently, the station is being used to incubate the paranormal virus Infecticide, named I-413, being the location of multiples experiments and becoming the captivity of the unsuspecting subjects. The station was frequented by a lot of scientists, that were either killed or infected during the contamination of the employees, whose bodies remain laying around the place. The contamination of the employees, was planned by Panacea to, eventually, start the "collision" and weaken the millennial manifestation of a paranormal creature named Nidere. However the plan was sabotaged by Micael Cruzes, in order to save the beast.

Location organization[]

Entrance[]

The entrance is simple and consists of a big metal door, that can be opened by a mechanism connected to the director's computer. Because the station is underground, the only part that can be seen outside is the door and the small metal construction that covers the top of the stairs. Next to it, there is a bigger construction, that looks like a bunker, but use and relation with the Glacius Station are not clear. Both buildings seem to be in an isolated place, being the only thing other than snow that can be seen in the landscape.

Another entrance, other than the main door, is the elevator. A big metal elevator that, from the outside, looks like a bunker. The elevator only has two buttons (one arrow pointing up and one down) that goes directly to the warehouse. The elevator was built and used, to transport the mass of infecteds with the I-413 to outside of the station where the colision with Nidere would happen.

Warehouse[]

A place full of metal shelves, used to store the most diverse items, such as: a perfume that scares away Nidere and some medical kits; it is also where one of two buttons, responsible for restarting the generators, is located.

Temperature Room[]

The virus, Infecticide, that was being developed is able to contaminate electronic devices, therefore the whole station partially functions through mechanic equipment. Because of the extremely cold location and the virus vulnerability to low temperatures, there was the need to create the temperature room. Through archaic mechanisms the temperature room uses the heat of the combustion of fuels to warm the whole area. The room was also used as an improvised captivity, where the subjects (Lucie Pocharde, Diego Thalles, Benito Camelo, Jeffrey Bacon and Luis Miguel Kennedy) were kept to be infected, being handcuffed to the pipes. When they woke up, the group realizes that there is steam leaking from the tubes and, after closing them, the room went back to having temperature.

Energy Room[]

It's in the energy room that the three big energy generators of the base are, it also seems to serve as a place where the workers studied the installations and/or rested. There are tons of abandoned things, like a blueprint of the station and old newspapers used by the employees to keep track of the outside. A lot of boxes, with unknown content, seemed to be tossed there. It is in this room that the lever responsible for activating the emergency protocol to freeze the whole place is. Some posters with weird messages are placed, similar to the ones on the Panacea offices in Rio de Janeiro and Ciudad de México. The posters had the following messages: " The enemy is up there", "Transformation is power" and " If life gives you lemon make a lemon virus".

Medical Bay[]

The medical bay was where the workers were treated, having litters and medical instruments. There was a room for the lockers, that were locked by their own electronic system, where some resources were stored, such as the gloves that kept the employees immune and a gun. Mathias Bergman and Noah Bergman were sheltered in this place after being infected, together with the corpses of their colleagues laying on the floor of the place. Different from the rest of the station, which has dark colored walls and floors, the medical bay seems to have more bright colors. Some of the same posters seen on the energy room were also in the walls of the medical bay.

Kitchen[]

The kitchen is common, storing cutlery and plates, and actually seems to have been used to produce food for the team. It consists of a white room with the floor and part of the walls covered in white tiles, some utensils hanging on the walls, stoves, fridges, sinks and cabinets. Now the place is covered with blood, the lights frequently failing and some expired food.

Research Laboratory[]

Different from other rooms, in addition to the metal door there are two other glass doors that separate the room in three parts: the laboratory, the probable decontamination area and the entrance. Inside the laboratory there is an empty storage, the research and the rest of the experiments made to develop the virus and the infected bodies of some scientists. The left part of the chamber is occupied by four big shelves full of fetuses contaminated by the virus and stored in glass jars. On the right there are four big glass cylinders, big enough to fit a person, but they don't seem to have anything other than an green liquid, with the exception of one of them that is completely broken. Next to the cylinders there are some contaminated computers together with notes, a white board and some documents about the vulnerability of the virus to cold temperature and an emergency protocol in case the situation gets out of control. It is in this location that two other subjects, Emília and Anderson, were being kept.

Lobby[]

The lobby is similar to a reception, containing a desk, a drinking fountain, two computers and four chairs ( two in front of the desk and two behind) and a cabinet. Through the computers it is possible to access some documents about the company, activate a message on the control room and open the door to it. In the walls there are two posters, one is the same as one from the energy room, the other says: " If we do not do it no one will". The computers in the room also indicate that all the electronics of the station have its own system and cannot be connected to the internet.

Control Room[]

The control room can only be accessed through the lobby and is occupied with a lot of computers and machines connected to the rest of the building. The multiple screens show the camera footage of the other rooms, while the main computer shows a message about the projects Glacius and Igneus. In the room there are more than ten chairs positioned in front of the computers, now completely abandoned, being one of the few places without signs of blood or infection. A lot of papers and documents can be found all around. Through these computers it is possible to initiate the emergencial shutdown to deactivate the system that keep the high temperature.

Director's Office[]

It is small but comfortable, it has some shelves with books and boxes, two sofas, a coffee table, a cabinet, two bookshelves and the director desk with his computer and documents. Aligned behind the director chair there is a big Panacea symbol displayed on the wall. Even after the activation of the emergency protocol, the office maintained an acceptable temperature, indicating that the room has its own heat system. It is through this office that the entrance is controlled, being opened by a command on the computer. This is the place that Micael chose to shelter himself in order to avoid infection, the only stains are the ones from the blood he lost by having his arm cut off by the metal door.
