May Jupiter forgive me, but I see you in hell!

Faustus[1]

Faustus was one of the Ordo Calamitas warriors, an organization located in Rome that aimed to destroy the Paranormal.

Faustus first appeared in the 5th episode of Calamity, waking up in his room and going to the great table of the Ordo Calamitas base.[2] During the events of the 5th episode of Calamity, while Team Vultures explored The Colosseum, he was incorporated by Antônio Pontevedra.[3]

He ended up dying in one of The Host's games in the 6th episode, having his body taken by Balu, who chose to let Faustus unexist, just sitting there holding his sword, and thus losing his existence.[4]

Appearance[]

Faustus was a black man with curly brown hair. He wore a gray metal armor, a large gladiator helmet, and had the Ordo Calamitas' symbol on a cloth on his chest. Faustus also had several scars present on his face.

While Team Vultures was reliving the memories of the warriors of Ordo Calamitas, Faustus had a rosy aura with some blue parts osurrounding him, and his eyes shone in a blue color.

Personality[]

Faustus was a very serious and vicious man, rarely participating in the team's plays, and with a huge religious belief.

Biography[]

Past[]

Little is known about Faustus' past before becoming an Ordo Calamitas warrior, just that he became an apprentice from the Roman emperor Nero, serving him with total loyalty, often kneeling before his presence. Before the Order's invasion, he was tasked with a team with Amalia, Celestine, Gaius, Marius and Remus, of getting the Relic of Energy and gather it in the organization's base.

Calamity[]

Faustus, just like his companions, awoke with a faint memory of some event which he could not remember, ignoring in readiness as he headed to the room where all the warriors were. There, they appeared celebrating and getting drunk for the mission succeeded the day before. Upon arriving, he demonstrated the discomfort he felt from the shouting coming from the room, complaining to the agents and driving out of the room, being surprised by the arrival of Veritus, which convinces him to remain in the meeting.

After some time, his mentor, Nero, arrives at the place, giving an end to the brief party and commenting on the damage occurred after mission, giving time for the discomfort felt by all the Marked warriors were satisfied, causing the question that was not answered from the time they woke up to be answered, with the reminder that Balu, one of the future Ordo Realitas' agents, had taken over the body of the general.[3]

Not long after they remember, the Order's base is invaded by the Relic of Death, being this manifested from the Black Ooze that drained through the walls and tentacles, these killing everything that was around them.[5] The warriors fled down the long corridor of the base, being repeatedly grabbed and attacked by this being of a familiar silhouette, but in the end they managed to escape to the room where the Relic of Energy remained contained.[6] The artifact called for the presence of the agents, seducing them to join in a circle around the Relic, which chaotically chose Gaius as a vessel, assuming the form of a being named Amphitruo.

Those who survived were forced to participate in games proposed by the entity, with Faustus participating from three of four challenges. Although he appeared to be quieter, after the beginning of the first game he took a more instinctive and strategic position, not caring to deceive and betray his partners, aiming only to get out of the competitions alive, as demonstrated in the first challenge, "The Devil's Coffins", where he made an alliance with Amalia and killed Marcellus, besides helping to kill Cascadia. In the second game, "Masquerade Ball", he did not care to accuse the allies themselves to save his own existence, as well as in their last challenge, "Death Rooms", betraying almost all his colleagues and helping to kill Karise and Cornelius.

Right after allying to Celestine to make it alive to the last game, for a brief moment, Balu begins to regain consciousness of his personality, causing Faustus to try to redeem himself for all the betrayals and lives taken from those who were his partners, praying to god Jupiter moments before its existence is completely drained, ceasing to exist.[4]
