Why do you fight against the Deconjuration? You know Kian is stronger and more important than all of this.

Erika^[1]

Erika was an occultist that grew up in the St. Menefreda Orphanage, joining the Escribes after the fire at the place.

She only appeared in the Passage Corridors, located in the undergrounds of the Devilish Mansion, where she fought the D-Force team from Ordo Realitas.^[2] She was killed by her old friend Bruno, while he was under influence of the Uncontrollable Rage Ritual.^[3]

Appearance[]

Erika was a large woman with a very muscular physique and signs of vitiligo on her body, a condition that affects the individual’s melanin spots, with different tint spots on her skin. Her hair resembled burgundy and, like the other Escribes, her eyes were whitish. She wore an eye patch on her right eye and the chains called "Mortal Shackles" around her arms covered in scriptures.^[4]

Erika was an orphan who grew up in the Orphanage Santa Menefreda with other children, some of them her best friends Kish and Bruno.^[5] After the fire in the orphanage happened in 2009 caused by a "game" created by The Host in order to kill Kian,^[6] Erika joined the Escribes, doing several missions along with her friends.^[7]

Sometime during Deconjuration, Bruno would ask Erika and Kish to join him in fighting Kian and the Deconjuration, with both refusing that idea.^[8]

Deconjuration[]

In the Final Day of the Deconjuration, she was one of the responsible guards for Cassiano Menta along with Kish, fighting each other while waiting for the markeds, starting a fight with their arrival.^[2] During the battle, the occultist witnessed Kish being killed by Erin Parker^[9] and, right after, having her head blown off by a sledgehammer from Bruno, who was enraged because of the influence of the Uncontrollable Rage Ritual.^[3]

Arsenal[]

Mortal Shackles	They are two chains used to whip and immobilize their opponents. During Erika’s combat with Bruno, they are broken.^[10]

Relationships[]

Bruno: Erika, Kish and Bruno were best friends since their childhood at the St. Menefreda Orphanage. They remained quite close during their time as Escribes, acting even as a trio, training together.^[7] Despite Bruno’s attempts to turn his friends against Kian, the two never converted and were killed in a battle with Bruno, who was visibly shaken by the situation.

Kish: Erika and Kish were best friends, and clearly cared about each other, always trying to protect each other when in battle. Kish sacrificed himself in an attempt to save Erika, but the two eventually died at the hands of Bruno. According to Cellbit, there was a certain loving feeling in the relationship between the two occultists.
