The infos and events presented below are considered Non Canon in the Paranormal Order universe timeline.

Eliana Carvalho is a character present in the Brumes of Low Wind mission. She is an environmental activist and former mayor of the Low Wind city, being a good friend of Jamila Duran before her death. After the emergence of the Xilosapien Brumas, Eliana stayed in the library until the arrival of the group of Ordo Realitas agents.^[1]

Appearance[]

The only description given of her appearance is that she is an older woman with reading glasses.

Personality[]

Eliana is a traditionalist person, very attached to the stories and rites passed down about the guardians of the city's forests, which combines with her strong sense of naturalism, actively acting against the deforestation of trees by Machado Madeiras and his successor as mayor Reinaldo. Eliana believes that the creatures are the guardians, believing that they came back to take what is rightfully theirs, thinking that Jamila's death was the last straw for them to act.

Biography[]

Past[]

During her time as mayor, a fire broke out in the city's old town hall, where several documents were lost in the flames. Because of this fire, many city residents did not forgive the city hall for the damage to the local flora, which was the reason why Eliana was unable to be re-elected against Reinaldo Duran the following year.

With the partnership of elected mayor Reinaldo and the logging industry Machado Madeiras taking place, Eliana, Jamila and several citizens of the city objected to their operations in the local forests, thinking that removing the wood would "disturb the balance of the place". A few months after Jamila's father began his term in office, she and several citizens staged masked protests in Misty Forest to the company's headquarters, which became frequent over time and led to her being arrested by the police.

Some time before the events of the mission, Eliana with several other people were protesting in the forest, where during this protest one of the machines used on the trees was turned on and ended up chopping and decapitating Jamila Duran, with Eliana seeing this from the front of the accident. After that, Eliana isolated herself in the library completely until the emergence of the Brumes of Xilosapien, where she visited the forest once and saw the creature in the shadows, noting that it had the same look of hope as her activist friend.

Since then, Eliana has been waiting for the creatures, whom she believes to be the "guardians of the forest", to fulfill what they want: to make the city return to respecting the forests, wanting to resolve everything to see Jamila's suffering end.

Brumes of Low Wind[]

Eliana was reading a book when the Ordo Realitas agents arrived at the library, informing them about local folklore and the death of her friend.

Trivia[]

Eliana is the only character of focus in the mission who does not die from the attacks of the Roottens as the days go by, making her death in the mission almost impossible normally. As the mission can be done with different masters, this event can be changed however the master sees fit.
