Edimeia Soares[1]
Edimeia Soares is a Portuguese woman who lives in the camp next to the Broadcast Station, located in Varminho, in the interior of Minas Gerais. She had her first appearance on 2nd episode of Signals from the Other Side welcoming the duo Guizo and Dara who were looking for information about the Aliens' influences in the region with his niece, Ludismila and his friend Eriberto.
Appearance[]
Edimeia is a 56-year-old woman, 1.65 meters tall, with short brown hair and green eyes. She wears a blue dress, a turban of the same color, necklaces and beads around her neck.
Personality[]
Edmeia appears to be a calm and serene woman, being receptive to all new visitors to the camp.

Past[]
Edimeia was born on January 1, 1941, daughter of Paulo Soares and Mary Soares, living in the camp next to the Broadcast Station, in Varminho.
Little is known about her past, but based on the story told to the group, Nadiel Freitas, her husband, was abducted two years ago, and that he worked at a radio station in Varminho on frequency 104.3 FM together with his brother, after attacks from the competition and his disappearance, the TV station closed. Since then she has been looking for new appearances of Aliens to be abducted and reunite with her husband.
Signals from the Other Side[]
In 1997, at the age of 56, Edimeia is seen in the camp next to the Broadcast Station talking to Guilherme Santos and Dara Venturini. In which, she talks to the group and tells stories about her past and her incessant search to reunite with her husband, Nadiel, who was abducted about two years ago. On the same day, at dusk, she along with Ludismila and Eriberto are approached and abducted by Aliens.
During the rescue of The Five team at TV Varminho's Tower, in an attempt to free Edimeia from the cocoon she was attached to, they were unsuccessful in entering the release code, causing the capsule to lock.
