We are all one.
Doppelganger[1]
The Doppelganger is a paranormal creature belonging to a group of creatures named Aliens, taking the form and bodies of dead people acting as if they were them, however, with a robotic and locked speech, trying to emulate a human speech. The bodies of these creatures, although similar to those of humans, are distorted, being easily differentiated from ordinary people. All Doppelgangers seem to work together for the interests of the TV station TV Varminho, capturing victims, inducing people to see the symbols on television and working directly on the station building, representing the own workers and producers of the site.
Their first appearance was in the 1st episode of Signals from the Other Side as silhouettes, where they were in a van that chased The Five on their way to the Zucchini Farm,[2] later appearing in the 3rd episode, where several of these creatures wearing suits and hats arrive with the same van at the camping of Edimeia Soares and kidnaps their residents.[3] However, one of the creatures later appears in front of the Five, taking the body of Adágio Magal Benza and forcing his family to watch TV.[4]
Appearance[]

Doppelgangers have an almost identical body to a human being, but their face is completely distorted, having small eyes and circular shape, with several folds near their eyes, eyes that are completely black with a green pupil. Most noticeable on their face is a large vertical partition that divides the creatures' faces in half. Their hands have long fingers, these pointed fingers. Their skin is also different from normal humans, having a strange appearance and, when dead, takes a greenish color, losing both their hair and their mouths when dead,[5] besides their clothes are part of the creatures' own skin, not being clothes in fact and being attached to the creature.[6]

These creatures can also transform, taking a more threatening, extremely higher form of crooked, curved posture, with long, lean arms. In this form, their mouth begins to close, as if their skin sewed its own mouth.[7]
Behaviour[]
Doppelgangers act in very different ways depending on their situation, but usually try to imitate humans, their way of speaking, walking, interacting, etc. However, the creatures' speech and way of acting is quite innate and robotic, easily denouncing their paranormal nature. While in this state, they try to direct other victims to "connect" and "understand the call", showing the symbols on televisions and even broadcasting television programs to communicate with as many people as possible. As soon as threatened or opposed, however, the Doppelgangers show themselves to be quite aggressive, physically hitting their enemies, and getting equipped, using their Energy guns to fight with them.[8]
In its other form, the creature now has a slower walk and the body more fulfilled, taking a less aggressive posture, using its fingers stretched to connect to the mind of its victims, driving them crazy and passing messages.[9]
Arsenal[]

Doppelgangers often carry with them technological weapons with similarity to the Aliens, ranging from pistols to shotguns. The shots from these alien tools are of Energy with a greenish tinge and do not require ammunition..[8] |
