The Decadent Amalgam is a hideous creature of Death with the complement of Fear. It is summoned from a cursed scepter and the Eternal Night Death ritual, sacrificing some people turned into Ooze Skeletons and a living human host with the staff, who merge into a large pile of bones and black ooze.[1]
Appearance[]
The Decadent Amalgam is a large gooey mass made up of black ooze and a pile of skulls and skeletal arms throughout its body, with its mass appearing to flow to form a constant spiral around itself.
Behavior[]
This creature hates life and always tries to devour living creatures. Many times, it uses its hands to grab its targets and pull them into itself, trying to incorporate them into its mass of ooze.
History[]
Its origins are not known for certain, but its creation came from the Cult of Eternal Night and their ancestors, the ancient "sorcerers" who trapped the "shadow creatures" in cursed receptacles 3 thousand years ago. The cult believed they performed the Eternal Night ritual to control creatures made of ooze in the name of the "ancient night gods", leading to the future invocation of the Amalgam.
Trivia[]
- The creation of this creature was probably based on the Entropic Devourer, a creature that could have appeared in the mission played by Della, Cellbit, Calango and Zero in one of the episodes of the Balela podcast.
- Despite this, the two are not the same creature, based on the limited information on Balela's creature and the Amalgam's sheet.
