I don’t want anyone else to suffer... much less from things I’ve done.
Damir Lukic[1]
Damir Lukic is one of the protagonists of the series Paranormal Order, present in Calamity.
He was one of the Markeds from Kian's side, recruited by Gal. Damir is a stylish occultist who always stays close to his brother, Boris Lukic. Damir first appears in the 2nd episode of Calamity, helping on the Escribe invasion to the Famiglia Leone's Mansion,[2] often reinforcing and healing his brother’s wounds while remaining in the rear.
During the events of "Warrior" Damir finds out about Kian's manipulation and decides to ally with Team Vultures to defeat him.[3] He is very shaken and sad at the end of the battle, realizing what he did and how much it cost his choices, he apologizes with Carina Leone and parts to Brazil.
Currently Damir remains locked in the cells of the Ordo Realitas Base, warning that the agents "know when to call him".
Appearance[]

Damir is a middle-aged and bald man, being 5.74 feet tall, the visible eye being of green tone and the other hidden behind a black eye patch, with one of his hands covered by text tattoos, something common among the Escribes. In addition to a purple Fedora hat on his head, he wears a burgundy shirt, wearing a purple blazer on top, which has a brooch with the symbol of the Lukic fixed on his lapel, plus dark purple pants and a pair of black shoes, most of the time holding a cane in his right hand.

After deciding to confront Kian along with Team Vultures, Damir was the target of several punches thrown by the Occultist in his face, which ended up sinking his nose, who after using a Ritual to heal the wound, he gets a big scar all over his face. He removes his eyepatch, revealing a yellowish iris by its connection to the Element of Knowledge. In honor of his brother, Damir removes his Fedora and starts wearing the beret of Boris.
Personality[]
Damir is an arrogant man, convinced and extremely dependent and attached to his brother, whenever possible keeping close to him and reinforcing him during fights. He possesses a greedy nature and disrespect for the dead, demonstrated during the invasion to the Leone's Mansion, by kicking the fallen bodies and searching for jewels and valuable objects in them.
After Joui, Dante and Carina show the truth that Kian lied about them having allied with the Devil, and revealing atrocities of the man, he is sorry to have allied with the first occultist, rebelling with Boris and T-Bag. After the death of his brother and the imprisonment of Kian, Damir feels an extreme sense of guilt, trying to redeem himself with Carina, one of the only survivors of the Leone family, apologizing to her several times, and doing several good deeds, such as donating all his wealth to charity.
Biography[]
Past[]
Little is known about Damir, and one of the few known information is that, along with Boris, he's connected with “The Devil's Circus” from the Davo Brothers, especially to Lucas Davo and The Devil itself on his past. It is also known that a gang of the Lukic family, at one point, tortured and killed the brother of Antônio Pontevedra. Between the end of Deconjuration and the beginning of Calamity, Damir and his brother were recruited by Kian's Escribes, as a reinforcement in the chase for the Relics of Calamity. Kian promised them that they would kill The Devil together.
For Lucas.
Damir Lukic[4]
Calamity[]
His first mission given by Kian, along with his brother, was to go to the Leone's Mansion, where it had information about the Relics and they needed to pass through all the Famiglia Leone to make it. When the two first meet with their allies, they completely change the semblance they used to have, with Damir becoming more serious and arrogant than usual, retaining his greed and stealing jewels and precious elements from the dead corpses of some Leones. To get to the safe containing the information of the Relics, they went through all the rooms of the mansion, looking for and killing all the Leones who had in place, with Damir participating as support healing his allies and especially Boris. After killing Marco Leone, the family's patriarch and greet Kian at the safe, the Markeds enter the compartment, watching Kian analyze the documents. Suddenly, the walls of the safe begin to spill blood everywhere and the documents Kian observed also soak in blood, turning into a page with a symbol known to the brothers, the Symbol of the Devil. Upon seeing Kian say that it will be easier to fulfill the agreement between them, Damir and Boris follow him to the ground floor, because finally it was time to fulfill their dream. But they meet not with the Devil, but with Joui Jouki, who was filled with an uncontrollable hatred and had already decimated many Escribes. In the midst of the battle, after Rana finished summoning the portal to the Escribes' escape, Boris, who was heading towards Joui to attack him, is alerted by Damir to flee through the portal, saying this was not the fight they seek.
After escaping through the portal, the brothers are teleported to the St. Menefreda Orphanage, and from there, they go to the Lukic Mansion, their property, where Damir meets his butler Jovan, giving the jewels he took from the dead bodies of the Leones, suggesting making a necklace for the same. After a brief rest, Damir and his brother return to the orphanage and are teleported to the entrances of the ruins of Domus Aurea, along with the other Escribes. Unlike what was at the Leone's Mansion, Damir retains his normal personality in a more mocking and ironic way. After a brief conversation between the Markeds, Kian appears and guides the Escribes through the ruins. During the ride, Damir and Boris talk about not trusting Kian, and Damir mocks a bit of the 'leader'. After a brief discussion about Kian remembering that he built this place after touching the statue of Veritus, the group continues to be guided until they reach a fork, with Kian indicating Gal to follow the path of the Relic of Blood. Along the way, the Markeds have faced many creatures, from Armored Blood Zombies and a Cyclops. As they enter a labyrinth and follow all the way to the center, Boris finds a lever and activates it, not knowing that it would turn on the lights of the area and close the maze doors, invoking a Minotaur in front of everyone. During the battle, Damir and Boris tried to stick together, but Damir was caught once by the Minotaur, being struck by his horns. However, his healing skills prevailed in battle, and the rest was done by the other markeds with Artemis causing great damage with her rifle and Gal cutting off the creature’s head. As they proceed through the ruins, they arrive at a kind of blood-soaked chapel, with a throne at the end of the corridor. Once again hoping to find the Devil, Boris and Damir are surprised by agents of Ordo Realitas, that Gal recognizes as the Metallic Dragons, a band that he liked much. During the clash, Damir focused on protecting Boris and trying to confuse the band members, but he did not realize that Artemis was constantly being injured next to him, and saw Leandro Hans, the last living member of the band, who saw his friends die in front of him, blow the head of the Escribe as last act. Damir ends up feeling guilty for not seeing when she was in danger, but is scolded by Kian, who emerges again reinforcing that none of this will exist anyway. Kian sends Damir, Boris and T-Bag to go straight ahead, because he wanted to talk to Gal alone. Along the way, the three cross through an unknown woman, who follows the path contrary to them. Using one of the secret exits of the place, located near the Arch of Constantine, the three leave the ruins, facing The Colosseum.
A few minutes pass and Kian appears again saying that Gal stayed behind to set up strategies with a traitor of the Order, Clarissa, as it was decided that this was the time to decimate the entire Order. Kian heals all the injuries of the markeds, with sigils that tell the stories of the battles that caused the scars, but that also change. He also orders Nubi to command an invasion on the Leone's Mansion, because that’s where he believes the Order will flee, so he can scare them. Kian says he will check the colosseum to see if any agents stayed, indicating that he will finally go along with the Markeds, which makes Damir mock him. He also tells Damir and Boris that the Order has allied with the Devil, which makes the two trust him for the situation. Entering the place, they realize that a war is occurring between the Order and the escribes. As they make their way through the entrance hall of the arena, they come across Agatha Volkomenn, who had just killed two Escribes, and upon realizing their presence, rushes out into the arena. Damir just laughs coming across this scene, while Kian teleports to the center, holding Agatha by the neck. At the same time, Joui, Carina Leone and Dante enter the colosseum, coming across the scene. Kian introduces his Markeds to the Vultures, and again creates an illusion for the brothers, causing them to have a false view of Clarissa seeing the team accept a box from the Devil himself, and wondering why they ally with the entity. Boris saw Joui participating in this vision, but Damir did not, but this did not prevent them from becoming more furious with the team. The Magistrate appears to help the Vultures, holding Kian for a while, leaving the six Markeds facing each other.
Team Vultures talks about Gal being betrayed by Kian, saying that the same will happen to his Markeds, but Damir, confused and angry with the visions, does not take it seriously and claims to have seen them in front of the Devil. Joui denies it as a lie, while Carina, angry at the Escribe’s mockering, hits two of her golden knives at him and T-Bag. Damir recognizes the symbol on Carina’s knives as the "Kittens Family" they decimated, taunting the Leone. Dante conjures his Ooze Tentacles Ritual and traps the three Markeds, and Damir, angry, orders Boris to kill the "Devil's Minions". Carina, hearing this, still insists that they are not on the Devil’s side and Joui, noting that they are being manipulated by Kian to believe lies, leaves his katana aside and tries to talk to Kian’s Markeds without showing any kind of aggression. Boris, who recognizes Joui from the mansion, warns Damir, while Joui says he was only a pawn used by the Devil and that he was never on its side. He also says that the team saved Gal, who was betrayed by his idol, and that they are only in this battle to defeat Kian. Damir, realizing that there was no other choice, proposes a truce between the two sides, asking the Order to ally with them to defeat the Devil, while they ally with the Order to defeat Kian. Joui accepts the truce and the two shake hands. The six gather for a brief discussion on how to make it look like Kian’s Markeds didn’t betray him, while Dante uses a ritual that shows memories of his life, such as the moment he saved Leonardo Gomes from the orphanage, when Kian said that killed Jasmin and when the Devil says he was now an enemy of the Order. Damir gets his eyes watered when he hears the truth.
After killing the Magistrate, Kian returns, and easily realizes that his markeds have betrayed him. Damir states that he knows what really happened, and furious at this, Kian threatens to kill T-Bag with his Blade of Fear. But before doing so, Verity jumps from the Colosseum's stands surprising Kian, who questions whether the Order’s plan was a suicide. But Verity leaves him perplexed saying he knows something that not even Kian knows. He attempts to kill the leader of the Order, and realizing that there is no way to kill him, he is shocked, and Verity orders the six to attack. Carina catches the grimoire from the hands of Kian and runs away, while Damir uses his Blood Armor Ritual on Joui. But he is surprised to see Kian stab his brother with the Blade of Fear, which makes him despair and try to go up to Kian, who retaliates with several punches in his face, making his face disfigured. Damir is healed by Dante and wakes up agonizing in pain, and running away. When he turns, he sees the terrible scene of his brother, dead on the floor with his head blown off by Kian. He gives a desperate scream after this scene and falls to the ground. Irritated, he heals part of his injuries and yells at Kian, who was furious punching Joui to death. Meanwhile, Arthur, Balu and Rubens arrive at the same time, joining the battle, while Damir uses another Blood Armor, this time on Dante. During the course of the battle, Kian reveals to Balu that Damir was the leader of the gang that killed his brother, and Damir retorts that he doesn't even know Balu. He uses his Blood Armor on himself, trying to move on Kian, who retaliates all his blows. Nevertheless, Kian is defeated by the agents and Damir, being contained in the Dark Restriction. Damir, still gripped by the Uncontrollable Rage, continues punching Kian locked, being held by Carina who tries to calm him down. Balu pretends to punch Damir, reinforcing that he is now a new person, and that if it were 15 years ago, the punch would hit him. After the battle is over, Damir, exhausted, collapses in the middle of the arena, being awakened later to the moment when Dante would dispose of the dead bodies of Joui, Boris, T-Bag and the Magistrate. Damir says goodbye to his brother, keeping his beret, and using his ashes to heal himself.
I’ll never say goodbye to him, he’s here with me.
Damir Lukic[5]
The Order heads to the Leone's Mansion, and on the way, the Vultures talk to Damir about him having repented and being able to see that Kian was manipulating him. Carina also says that she couldn’t forgive him for slaughtering her family, and that it’s for Damir to fight for his brother. Upon arriving at the mansion, Damir sits on the staircase of the main door of the site, in a moment of reflection. Some members of Team Vultures show up to talk to him, with Carina sharing one of the ice cream Balu had bought with him.
After the relaxed moment, the Order returns to Brazil, taking Damir along. During the trip, Damir writes down various personal information in his notebook, tearing the sheet and handing it to Carina, saying that he will donate everything he has to her. After being taken to Verity's office by Arthur and Dante, Verity questions why Damir is not yet in a cell, being answered that Damir is willing to cooperate with the Order to face the Devil. Although he does not accept Damir’s mistakes, Verity allows him to help the Order, but at the present time, he will stay inside a cell. Dante takes him to the same cell where he had stayed, leaving some books for Damir.
During the rest time of the Order, Damir remained in the cell, taking visits from some of the Vultures, usually Arthur, who brought food to him. It was noticeable that Damir’s hands were bruised, resulting from punches in the wall he threw.

Relationships[]
- Antônio Pontevedra: Balu and Damir met at a troubled and confusing time, with Kian revealing that the leader of the gang that killed Balu’s brother was Damir himself, something he did not remember, but after the end of the battle Balu demonstrates and says that no longer seeks revenge, but still acts seriously and aversion to the occultist.
- Artemis Deordelin Rodrigues: Damir saw Artemis only as a colleague as well as the rest of the team, but despite this, felt guilty about the Escribe’s death for failing to help her as she died on his side, in which he claims he did not see her situation and could not help.
- Arthur Cervero: Arthur met with Damir in the middle of the battle against Kian, being in a state of focus and anger, but at the end of the fight Arthur reveals that he noticed the occultist helping them, since Damir used rituals to save the agents. Arthur embraces Damir after his brother’s death and tells the Lukic that if someone bothers him he just has to say that he is part of the "Vultures", also talking to Verity that it is not necessary to arrest him.
- Boris Lukic: Like his twin brother, Damir has always shown concern for the same. Damir is seen by his brother as an example, sometimes manipulating Boris and making him act differently than he really thinks if his brother thinks otherwise. Damir and Boris have their minds manipulated by Kian into thinking that Team Vultures are allies of the Devil, but are later shown the truth by the team, allying with them. In the middle of the battle with Kian, Boris was severely injured and Damir tries to help him, but ends up being hit by Kian. After Damir wakes up, he notices that Boris, his twin brother he has seen all his life, is dead without his head, which caused him to collapse, almost going crazy, generating a giant hatred for Kian.
- Carina Leone: Damir initially mocked Carina by meeting her at The Colosseum, laughing and mocking about her being from the "kittens family", but after talking to the Order's team and all fight together in battle against Kian, Damir apologizes several times to her, demonstrating a huge and genuine sense of guilt.
- Dante: Damir had his mind manipulated by Kian, causing him to think that Dante and his Team were allies with the Devil. However, in the middle of the battle, he is convinced by Joui that Kian is not the right side to follow, with Damir accepting a truce between the two Teams. Dante, to reinforce that they’re not lying about Kian and the relationship of Team Vultures with the Devil, uses a ritual to enter his mind, showing Damir the memories in which Kian is present, as when he met Leonardo Gomes in the Orphanage, and when he saved him in the fire when he was younger, Dante also shows the scene of Jasmin dying in his hands, Kian confessing that killed Jasmin, and finally the scene which the Devil claims to become an enemy of the team, making Damir trust his words more.
- Gal: Damir sees Gal as a team leader, obeying not much questioning what is asked of him. Despite this, Damir minimally cares for Gal and questions her being after the events at Leone's Mansion.
- Jovan Savik: He was the butler of Damir and Boris, obeying all that was said by Damir that after stealing some jewels from the corpses of the Famiglia Leone, offers them to Jovan and suggests that he make a necklace for himself.
- Joui Jouki: Damir remembers Joui when he sees him in the colosseum because of the events in the Leone's Mansion, sand showing well divided when the agents propose a truce. However, in the middle of the battle, Joui shows no hostility, trying to convince him that Kian is not the right side to follow, and that they must ally to kill him. Damir ends up accepting a truce between the two teams, shaking Joui’s hand and turning against Kian along with his brother and T-Bag.[3]
- Kian: While his brother showed great disapproval of Kian’s actions, Damir, by the agreement and the power of him, treated him as a means of achieving his goal, not caring what was necessary to achieve it. However, after Damir and his brother allied themselves to Team Vultures and battled Kian, he is convinced that he was not someone to be trusted, as he manipulated the minds of the Markeds. They then join forces to defeat Kian. At the beginning of the battle, Boris is hit by Kian and almost dies, Damir tries to help him, but ends up hit and faints. When Damir wakes up, he notices his brother killed by Kian, causing any feeling he had for him to turn into just hatred as he killed the only person he still had in his family.
- Lucas Davo: The death of Damir and Boris' father is one of the main reasons that reinforce them to hunt the Devil, since apparently it was responsible for his death, with the Brothers allying themselves with anyone who helps them accomplish their goal. They use the phrase "For Lucas" as a motivation to move forward.[15]
- T-Bag: Damir only saw T-Bag as a teammate.
